As with dreamlady, I expected the profile to be for a submissive female or a transvestite (the TV part) when I looked at the picture and the name.

The search settings should help KYTV avoid being seen as something other than a dominant male. Between text color and the fact that very few people are searching for both dom leaning men and sub leaning women, it's usually pretty easy to tell who's behind a profile. Plus, dom men with artsy B&W pics of women in submissive poses are not uncommon. A little declasse, but not uncommon. Which does lead to the first of two big suggestions for KYTV. Browse a broader variety of profiles. Especially, but by no means limited to, other dom men around your area and age. (Although since you'll likely be going after many of the same women as many couples and a fair number of switches, that's an extra good reason to browse beyond just other dom men.) You'll start to notice certain themes. Realizing what sub women see over and over and over again can be handy if you want to avoid blending into the masses. At least so far you've avoided "I am Dark Lord DomlyDom" and "why are women so rude" (don't ever be those guys), but realizing what archetypes are out there can be enlightening. Keep in mind that there's a propensity for exaggeration - 6' tall professionals making north of six figures are nowhere near as common as people who like to fib - but overall styles are easier to pick out. (Although you may also see a lot of people with copyright notices or similar legalese in their profiles. I don't know how other people feel about those, but to me they always come across wrong. I've never seen anybody actually monitor for violations and then take the perpetrator to court, so those read more like silly repost memes than something personal.) Next up is the classic writer's standby. Show, don't tell. Ideally using specifics; everybody loves music, but Taylor Swift fans and Bal-Sagoth fans don't necessarily see eye to eye. You can't necessarily show that you're attractive without showing what you look like, but clever writing shows intelligence far better than saying "I promise I'm smart". If you need a little help finding a writing style that suits you better, it might be worth reading some authors you like or listening to music with sharp lyrics to help get you into the right headspace.

Thanks for reading, and also your advice. I edited the paragraph to sound less apologetic. I agree with you completely. I was really trying to make the point that age is not necessarily an indication of maturity.

I understand what your saying. Can you give me some examples from my profile that aren't up to par in regards to writing style? Or are you saying I need to give more examples of my interests and be specific about them? I'm asking this honestly and thanks for your time!
