Everyone has their own likes and motivations. There is no "all heteosexual men" but undeniably, having a woman begging for your dick would probably be an appealing idea for most lol
I don't see begging for dick and being clingy as similar really so no contradiction... but I suppose you could look at it like begging for dick leads to physical/sexual conclusion and I suppose it is ingratiating to some extent as well as possibly fulfilling a need on the guy's part, making him feel wanted, lusted after etc... providing a bit of an ego boost maybe. On the other hand a clingy girlfriend could be considered the opposite I guess. Overt clingyness is I suppose emotional to some extent rather than physical and it brings the girl's needs to the fore. Maybe needs to feel wanted and to have some connection affirmed or reciprocated in some way. Probably not something that being lusted after would address.
