It appears that the next Super Tuesday elections on March 15, will decide where the rubber is basically meeting the road.
Florida's results will be interesting.

I have, consistently here an other places, said that liberals do not understand the depth of the anger among independents and republicans. Due to 2010 being a solid wave election for the republicans, if there is *another* republican wave election - it will only show by republicans maintaining senate seats, no real pickups.

For a man who doesnt understand what dems are angry about I find this hugely ironic.

Why do you think I don't understand why dems are angry? I understand. I just don't care. Your policies are wrong.

Lucylastic -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/13/2016 2:08:33 PM)

Well there are 3 words in there that are true.

Marini -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/15/2016 7:38:30 PM)

As I predicted, and away we go.
Looks like Trump vs. Clinton for the win in October.
Trump even won Florida.

Hummmm
It really is a wild world.

Greta75 -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/15/2016 10:28:16 PM)

Wow set back for Bernie. Does he still have any hope at all after today's battering?

Guess his supporters were too busy forming anti-Trump coalition to disrupt Trump than to carry on the good work to help Bernie.

I'm so happy Rubio is out of the game!

Happy for Kasich to have won home state.

And happy for Trump continuous winning streak!

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/15/2016 10:46:06 PM)

It seems freakishly surreal to me, that Trump has the following that he has. I simply can't comprehend how anyone can envision him as our President let alone vote for him. I am genuinely appalled at the racism, promotion of violence in his campaigns. I'm even more disgusted by the blatant bigotry and hate I've been seeing In The actions of his supporters. I had hoped we, as a nation had become more enlightened and open minded as to work toward ending racism but it seems to be getting worse.

He comes across as a petulant child being naughty for attention. I'm sure that will go over well with other world leaders.

(Sighs). This is an awful mess. I just can't believe it is happening. American politics has turned into a reality tv show.
That's just damn embarrassing.

Greta75 -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/15/2016 11:04:36 PM)

I think Trump is heavily misunderstood, and I look forward for the day, he becomes President, and do a good job for the country.

At this point, everyone is just like imagining some kind crazy extreme scenario with him at helm, imagining the worst. Personally, I think he just voices out his personal truthful opinions and thoughts. But his flexible. His goal is to do what is best for the country and everybody, so when his in that role, with the proper information, he'll be able to make better decisions and plans to tackle all the problems.

Good lord you're a fucking imbecile.

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/15/2016 11:24:47 PM)

I don't think he's misunderstood. The one thing about a politician NOT being politically correct is you know what he thinks, because he says it. Unfortunately, what he thinks and says is not something I can respect or endorse. If his idea of doing right, is to encourage violence against people who disagree with him, I have to wonder how that will translate into foreign diplomacy.

I think this is again, misinterpretation. I do not believe Trump is all about encouraging violence at all. I just always feel like, he says something, and then mainstream media twist the meaning into totally something else.

But I think all this movement to disrupt his campaign is a movement against free speech. They want him to stop talking and voicing his views.

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/15/2016 11:40:28 PM)

Greta, I'm not sure what coverage of the campaigns you are getting in your country and perhaps his Reality TV Persona appeals to you, but my personal opinion of the man has always been negative. He makes my skin crawl. I find him detestable in pretty much every aspect of his being. I always have. I'm not looking forward, at all, to the idea of him as President.

Greta75 -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/15/2016 11:42:37 PM)

I look forward to him doing good things. End of the day, he just needs a chance to prove himself. At this point, it's just speculation whether he is good or bad.
Btw, who is your preferred candidate winsome?

Dvr22999874 -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/15/2016 11:54:00 PM)

I think Trump seems like a cross between Tricky Dicky and Atilla the Hun, with a touch of uncle Adolf thrown in for good measure. The best I can see for America if he is elected is chaotic government that accomplishes nothing. The worst ? I shudder to think.

Well, I think my gut is right about him. I think his misunderstood. And I hope he gets to be President, so that, we can have evidence that I am right about him!

angelikaJ -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/16/2016 1:10:15 AM)

Then maybe he should become President where you live.

YourWayIsWrong -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/16/2016 1:27:17 AM)

Anyone else notice the irony in all this?

We have one anti trump supporter insisting trump supporters show actions of hate, bigotry, and prejudice behavior.

Then we have anoher anti trump supporter tell a non-American "well maybe trump should become president in your country" as if to imply because she is not American her opinion is less valuable and less important....

Yup its the all those racist Trump supporters that are intolerant of people in other nations..... *rolls eyes*

Like I say... the irony of it all.

He can, but his not Singaporean. So he can't. Plus he'd hate to be President in our country since he'd have no powers. Just a figurehead like Queen Elizabeth.

Lucylastic -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/16/2016 1:55:00 AM)

first post and you are complaining about irony???

LMAO yeah fine....
one person says ""well maybe trump should become president in your country"" and all of a sudden its

You missed yesterdays little conniption the "christian american /scottish" ignorant bitch was throwing around yesterday?
OH something here smells more than rotting tuna and cabbage casserole.

YourWayIsWrong -> RE: Super Tuesday Predictions (3/16/2016 2:04:47 AM)

Obviously I missed yesterdays anythings as I just joined the site and this was the first post I saw in the sidebar the grabbed my attention.

I have no idea who or what you are trying to insult with your christian american/scottish ignorant bitch comment because I wasn't around yesterday... or ever before. Perhaps I will read more and understand who your insults were aimed at, but really - it makes little difference to me either way. If it takes resorting to cyber insults to prove points an give yourself justification - hey thats your issue.

And if something smells... through it out? Not sure what that weird little blurb was about... but yeah you have my suggestion.

For the record, I didn't complain about anything I simply made an observation. I don't know anyone here yet - but its quickly becoming clear what people I wouldn't care to know, because generally I am an upbeat person who doesn't get along well with others who need to insult - even if they think they are justified in those insults.

Now you have a good evening.
