You are new to Collarchat, but I don't know whether you're a newbie to the lifestyle. If you weren't aware of this, fully informed consent is foundational to the practice of BDSM and D/s. This means the full (uncoerced, freely given) consent of EVERY and ALL adult parties involved or who have a vested interest, which includes one's spouse/SO, steady gf/bf, and any play partners you seek out. Without this, then it's not BDSM and/or (non-vanilla) D/s. This really isn't optional in terms of ethical conduct, and as a Dominant it behooves us to set a trustworthy example of Dominant leadership.
