1997, I am 10 yrs old, so I can watch a little, no produces marked changes,
as for the change of the law, mostly are symbolize, such as "chief administrator" instead of "governor",
we remain use the precedent in York in 1967...our lawyers and judges remian comes from UK and US...
as for our student study abroad, the reason is simple, some of us can not admitted by HK University, so they only choose poorer schools abroad. because our 8million people only have 8 universitys.
some of us chase the Combridge and Oxford, so they must abroad too.
the phenomenon have existed before 1997.
