I find your use-age of the word 'fake' to be counter-intuitive. You are describing liars and scammers, not "fakes", at least in my experience. Most of the time the person saying "fake" is the villain, rather than the victim.
Here are the four reasons I have found people are called 'fake'
1) You are not into the exact specific kink I am, so when you say you are a dom/sub, you must be a LIAR.
2) You enjoy the same kink, but can't read my mind and do it when and how I want you to.
3) While you describe yourself reasonably accurately (95%) , it does not match my own internal desires, so I falsely accuse you of lying about your height/weight/age.
4) You refuse to start communication 'in character', because you are looking for a relationship and need to learn to trust someone BEFORE you submit/dominant them. (Yes, Dom's need to trust you before they dominate you. Learned that the hard way).
