It doesn't start here in the US until next month I think. I was planning on DVR'ing it though.

FR

Hugh Laurie is on fine form as just about the most evil snake on the planet. Tom Hiddleston plays the spy as though he's just an ordinary guy - nothing extra suave or hard-man about him - so it's easy to relate to just how dangerous is his job under cover. Olivia Coleman, Tom's 'handler' is the last person anybody would imagine working as a spy - she's also great.

Great locations, too. They threw a *lot* of money into the series.

He's most decidedly *not* funny in this role. You'll feel like you've got spiders crawling all over you.

Saw the commercials for this while watching AMC last night. It doesn't start here until April 19.

I do plan on watching. I'm another Hugh Laurie fan. Just him being in it is enough for me to want to tune in.

He's a bloody terrifying menace in this, LP. The very worst kind of 'British upper class villain'. All suaveness and polished manners - till you get in his way then suddenly find yourself dead.

I watched the last episode last night. I'll not be giving away any plot-spoilers on this thread. Suffice to say: right to the very last minutes of the last ep you're still wondering 'what'll happen next?'

Really? Nor I. Are you sure there's no series coming up? I thought that show was a humdinger.

Oh, I heard it was cancelled, maybe they changed their mind?

It was good:) Id like to see a new season.
edited to add this from wikipedia
Jekyll and Hyde is a British fantasy TV drama consisting of 10 episodes. It aired on ITV in the United Kingdom from 25 October to 27 December 2015. On 5 January 2016 the creator Charlie Higson announced via his Twitter feed that ITV had declined a second season.[1]

Tom Bateman was also awesome in Da Vincis Demons:)

I'll take that as a very good recommendation then. Thank you for the tip.
