What an amazing story. You'd think it's a Jihadist but it's a love story!

Man hijacks plane, pretending to be suicide bomber with fake strap on bombs, so that he can demand to see his x-wife!

Wow! How absolutely crazy!

That is something. As his not a professional jihadist but just a man in love hijacking a plane to get his x-wife's attention. How did a regular person so easily hijack a whole plane!

WickedsDesire -> RE: Egypt Air Fiasco (3/29/2016 9:13:28 AM)

Crazy ends often in one way...doom and destruction. No matter how many chances you give it. I probably know about stuff like that as I know we are all human, well before I was bitten by alucard and woke up in that field, under a full moon, with a goat drained of blood, and well you know the rest……

Now, I long declared myself a loon, and i do not need proxy of my 3 cats to back that up.

There are good loons, few. Many bad loons..I fear he is the latter with an unflinching 100%..and I almost never quote that. Some minds are simply broken and they rationalise it as 100% then 200% and so on it goes and the ends jutify the means and so on.

Some of us have been taken hostage by madness itself
EgyptAir hijack: Man surrenders at Larnaca airport BBC lags at times what can i say but it says his motives were unclear.

No-one ever threatens death in name of love..cakes are somewhat different – so that is clearly allowed.

You buy her
Flowers - never orchids if you have cats
Box of chocolates...i am forbidden by the chocolate police for buying chocolate..too long a story...but i so am
Tell the ungrateful olde bint she looks 10 years younger than the ravishes of time that set about her with something wicked

And that is how you woo another.

I'd call him a stalker myself. She divorced him for a reason. And she obviously doesn't want to see him again or they would have worked it out.

DocStrange -> RE: Egypt Air Fiasco (3/29/2016 5:22:59 PM)

You cannot protect the world against crazy people.

They did have 4 kids together though.
I feel sorry the dude, but I think, his chosen the stupidest way to win his wife back.

DesFIP -> RE: Egypt Air Fiasco (3/30/2016 12:08:26 PM)

And he has a history of mental illness.
Possibly an arranged marriage, so she may not have wanted any children with him.

I don't feel sorry for someone that terrorizes a plane full of innocent people. I feel disgust for someone that self centered.

Greta, only you would characterize an obviously unbalanced man hijacking a plane full of people to get a woman's attention as a 'love story'.

DesFIP -> RE: Egypt Air Fiasco (3/30/2016 6:59:27 PM)

A woman who changed countries to get away from him.
Hopefully 20 years in jail will end his obsession with her.

Alot of people do alot of stupid things in this world out of love.

Love makes people do irrational things. It's an emotional feeling.

Just the way it is. Some people have balance and can control their feelings.

Some people don't and just flow with it. And end up doing stupid things.

BondageersT -> RE: Egypt Air Fiasco (3/31/2016 3:11:01 AM)

unfortunately it is easy to hijack a plane,
the crews are ordered to obey the perp.
in the interests of the whole package.
as one who knows. !!

Greta, that's not love. That's called an unhealthy obsession to the point that somebody was willing to engage in criminal behavior.

It's not romantic. It's not a movie. Are you thinking at all about the people who were put at risk because of what transpired? The bomb didn't have to be real for the passengers and crew to be effected. Do their "feelings" of fear during this incident not count?

I'll bet the ex that wanted nothing to do with him won't be recounting the story with the same slant.

Lucylastic -> RE: Egypt Air Fiasco (3/31/2016 5:37:09 AM)

no, she said he was abusive

Ya know I am gonna blame his religion for teaching him to abuse his wife right? If that's what his brought up to do under his religion on how to treat his wife. He doesn't know better than to love his wife this way. I mean you gotta admit that many places in the middle east has TV programs officially teaching you how to beat your wife.

WickedsDesire -> RE: Egypt Air Fiasco (3/31/2016 7:11:13 AM)

OsideGirl I don't feel sorry for someone that terrorizes a plane full of innocent people. I feel disgust for someone that self centered. And some of you others also said pretty much the same.

Hijacker photo man Ben Innes explains Egyptair plane snap thats a fuking selfie is it not :D

he said
she said

As I said before I have no idea the background to this one but will accept your words it was about love...and a state of being that none of us know. But terrorizes a plane full of innocent people. is not a good sign

LadyPact -> RE: Egypt Air Fiasco (3/31/2016 7:31:06 AM)

Are you telling me you wouldn't try to get some kind of electronic evidence if you were in that situation?

ETA - It ain't "he said/she said". It's 'a whole GD plane full of folks who can confirm the guy was a hijacker' said.

You keep classifying a lack of impulse control and lack of concern for others as romantic - they're not. What they actually are would be a good reason to spend quite amount of time with a therapist.

That flight crews are required to obey the perp and that it is easy to hijack a plane.
