Ive just finished watching season three, and Im going to be ordering the DVDs because I really LOVE this show.

Is there anybody else watching it???
I realise its on a premium channel and not...network, but it really is worth hunting down.

I watch it, great story line.
My slave watches it too.
It's one of the best shows available outside of Mr. Robot.

This season they surpassed them selves with the battle scenes, and storyline.
The cast ...main cast is eyecandy galore, despite being a straight chick, i have girl crushes on max and ann bonney.
The men are divine, flint , vane, rackham, billy and silver are awesome characters and yummy to look at,
Teach is awesome, also one of my fave guys from ROME.
Historically interesting but not perfect, but damn its fun.

I like it too. I wish some of these great shows such as this one would go more than 10 episodes in their season. A premium channel you say ? Have you ever heard of kodi ?

Google it or search YouTube. It's for real, anything and just about everything in TV programming and movies. We have dumped cable, Netflix and all the rest of it. Kodi can be installed on any Android device. It can be installed on Windows and MAC. IOS didn't used to support kodi with out jail breaking but now there is a version for Apple products that does not require it. We have it installed on all of our tablets, phones ànd computers as well as an Amazonn Fire box. It helps to be technically inclined to configure it one you have kodi installed.

I gave up somewhere into season 2. Not enough sex and gratuitous violence like in game of thrones

Plenty of violence...yeah season 3 kinda puts that tale to bed.

I enjoy Walking dead, Outlander, Black Sails and Davinci demons music he does too, but thats cos I only vaguley remember the intros from caprica, BSG or much of his earlier stuff.

I've watched it from the beginning, so obviously I like it, but this year in particular the anachronistic and hideously ungrammatical dialogue really started to bug me (not understanding the difference between "I" and "me," "who" and "whom," and above all their absolute inability to avoid fused participles). I know that perspective isn't going to be shared by most viewers, but if you're going to do a pirate show, it's kinda important not to sound like some popinjay at a costume party. Rackham sometimes drifts into that mode.

This year I also felt that too many conversations were unrealistically interrupted by knocks on doors, cannonballs, what have you.

But overall I keep coming back because the device of the "prequel" makes you want to see the plot to the end. How did Captain Flint's treasure wind up on Treasure Island and how come Long John Silver was the only person who knew about it? Irresistible premise. The pieces finally started to fall into place in the final episode of this season.

I started watching it with season 1, but lost interest in season 2. It just didn't keep my attention.
