Hi

i was wondering if anyone could direct me to some patterns online for basic leather arm bands and gauntlets, and also for a blindfold. i just found a whole heap of leather at an op shop and i want to put it to use and try my hand at making some very simple things to wear. Thankyou in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

You're going to have a hard time finding patterns for most esoteric projects like this. Have you tried making some yourself? Using thin cardboard or posterboard, it's pretty simple to draft patterns for smaller leather objects and because it's so cheap, it's no big deal if you screw them up. Just keep plugging away until you find a shape/design you're happy with.

I'M NOT SURE WHAT YOUR ASKING, BUT WHAT EVER LOOKS GOOD !;ESPECIALLY ,IF YOU HAVE TO BE BLINDFOLDED ;GO OUT LOOKING GOOD!!. ...TAC SHOPS HAVE INTERESTING IDEAS ,BUT, YOU HAVE TO BE VERY IMAGINATIVE AND, WITH THAT: B,AND, D, INGENUITY TO FIGURE OUT THE TRANSITION, FROM SHOW HORSE-GEAR, TO HUMAN- SLAVE GEAR READY FOR MARKET.

There is something special about making and using your own gear, toys and furniture. Try this addy. http://saroftreve.com/workshop/ He has alot of basic gear and toys you can make yourself, including patterns and supply lists. Click on projects and have a great time! Take Care! lilred

let your imagination flow ,,draw the things you want than tweak them till you are satisfied than trace them onto cardboard and than onto the leather,while if you look very hard you may find what you seek..

I have been looking for the same type of thing. Try looking towards renaissance festival or something along those lines. Not only can they make the garment for you, but if you are very nice, or know the person, than you can sometimes get them to sell you or give you a set of plans so you can make your own. Good luck hunting.
