Ok, you are entitled to your view. If you don't see a point in trying to do something about it you have that right.
I am not even asking for a change in the rules, I am just asking that the rules already in place to keep the troll problem in check be enforced.
Or they can proclaim that the rules have been abandoned and anything goes. This would not have any effect on the kinds of coversations you and I have, you behave like a rational civilized human being.

IOt's more a question of the market. It's clear that the few moderators here avoid the fuck out of the politics section and just leave it run wild. In other sections posts get removed (I have had posts that say nothing more than "LOL" removed because (presumably) they didn't contribute to the discussion in a positive way.
It is clear that the PTB have no interest in that particular section of the board, and so I strongly suggest that we all revert to the tried and true method of not feeding the fuckers. Just ignore their stupid shit.
Just ignore them, do not respond to them, eventually they will get bored of posting into a vacuum, because your response is what they want, that is what they crave.
Instead of waiting for some hypothetical mods to intervene, just step up and do it yourself and ignore them.

Was the post you were laughing at get removed? They used to remove any responses to offensive posts as well as the offensive post.
