hey, so i've been lookin for a sub on collarme for a while and it's not givin me much luck. wondering if anyone has suggestions as to where else i could look? different non pay sites?

or another question regarding pay sites.... do they really work? are they worth the 30 dollars for a month?

You haven't been on here for all of two months. Give it more time. It's like fishing. The pros have all the patience in the world. If you jump from one spot to another, you'll just get more and more frustrated.

The problem you are going to run into is few people are going to believe a young man your age who is flexing his muscles has the skills, and more importantly the confidence, to be a capable dominant.

Not only that, but this site doesn't have a lot of young women on it, at least not real ones so you have that strike against you as well as very few 30 year old women (about as old as I guess you might find attractive) are going to feel submissive to a man of your age.

I would highly recommend you look to the local scene as Seattle has a rather large kink community as does Vancouver and you will find much better hunting grounds there.

Edited to add: In addition, if you are truly wise beyond your years and are in fact a competent dominant, it is much more likely to be recognized and rewarded in face to face meetings than here, which is another reason to look to the real world scene.

I'd say that this site compares very well with any other out there, pay or free.  And two months isn't much of a hunt. OK, taking a look at your profile I am not surprised that you have gotten no favorable response. You are cute, but there isn't anything in your profile beyond cute to suggest interests, skills, or depth. If you are female or gay, cute can take you a long way. If not, then it's an edge, but not a real big one. You got to have skills. Ninja skills, computer hacking skills, you know, BDSM skills. . . . The girls really go for that sort of thing. Being a take charge sort of guy around here. . . doesn't separate you from the pack.  What reason are you giving a sub to consider you over five thousand others?

2 months that's it?? Give it time...patience is a virtue and if you don't have any..then...well. 

I don't know if it's just Me, but I have heard that it's harder for men to get subs than it is for Women.  I could be wrong, which is NOT that often....(grins).

And for the walmart post down there, I thought it was the PET store....hehe.

I'd stay away from the marked down ones though. Most of them are crap and you can't return them for a refund.

i love the subs i get at both Mr Sub and Subway.  I think McDonalds have a new kinda sandwich almost like a sub maybe a mini verson

i've been here for a long time, some people seem to find what they are looking for...then there's me...LOL i'll probably be here long after everyone's paired off. give it some more time and...when you've been here as long as i have...then the frustration will be more justified...LOL

Ontheedge02, you've been given some very good advice so far... particularly by CrappyDom.  If you insist on continuing your search online, I would suggest you take the following steps:

4.  Take the advice given to heart and follow it.

5.  Revise your profile.  Give it some substance as suggested by KennelDeSade2, including a new photo with your pants pulled up.  Subs want to know their doms know how to use a belt.  [;)]

6.  Finally, give it some time.  She's out there looking, too.

As for looking, I have found many many interesting, attractive, and damn intelligent women here, many see me the same way.

Unfortunately, I have yet to find one of the above who is local to me, so trust me, it takes time.  We could all wander down to the local pub and get laid, but for better or worse, we all want more, a LOT more than that.

So, settle in, make yourself at home, you are going to be here for a while...

go to local leather organizations for get togethers and or fetish fairs;you dont have to buy ,just be known and seen ;they will know you first as a top without and try to help you ;and go to major cities if you have to
but ;dont pay now; you just started ;why pay?pen pal is the max you should pay ,and that may be just a filler for the actual scene; meeting ;or scenarios around

this picture, not really helping...imo.
 
the only pay site i have ever tried was alt, and maybe it is because i am in a remote local, but it is 100 bucks ill never get back
 
vanilla sites are vanilla, and although i was on those too, ultimately kink is the predominant thing i am looking for in a partner so not much of a help.
 
I have had incredible luck on craigslist, wonderful people, good connections, many were new and needed to be introduced (trained) to D-life but i advertised as a Domme so they knew what they wanted
 
I found one of my boys in my local scene website so i would try there as well...there is probally a yahoo group for your area as well.
 
Mostly though, i would go to events, we dont have any here, (well, there is a two person munch that meets at the mall cafeteria once a month), but where you are, there are, take advantage of that....hugely rich resource for friends, mentors, play mates, and education...
 
ps some of the cheeky flippant responses you are getting is because your question was worded in a way that you see "subs" interchangeable or a commodity, you may have got a better response if you put a little more heart in your profile and in your post....a little more warmth a little less muscle[;)]
