I just downloaded the latest one and it works fine. Installed on XP and Win7 Ultimate (x86 and x64) and it all works perfectly.

wonder if you cleared cache and temp files and rebooted cold, see what happens. thats usually a fix for load problems.

I am on 8.1 64... yesterday it was ok. you could see who was online, had control. now it just says loading it is f...... useless. terri. xx

uninstall it and reinstall it. boot from scratch. probably corrupted somehow, particularly if it worked yesterday.

I am very proud to say that I haven't used Yahell in well over a decade. It is porous and opens holes in your firewall/virus support through which a tank could be driven. Just use Skype. Job done. Michael

Just use Skype. Job done. Michael Try using a port monitor when you open Skype. Under YIM, if I open a window to chat, it opens just ONE port - the chat window to the other person. When I open Skype, it opens dozens of ports that I'm not using which leaves me open to back-door intrusions that I can't stop because Skype has permission thru the firewall to open them. It was the same with MSN chat - opens loads of ports because it wants to pick one at random. YIM is not the best chat out there but it's no worse than Skype and opens less ports.
