mnottertail -> Nutsuckers imploding, admit to their lies (4/18/2016 9:27:39 AM)

http://bipartisanreport.com/2016/04/17/bushs-top-cia-briefer-just-admitted-the-truth-about-the-iraq-war-it-was-based-on-lies/

As they did with Benghazi, and with their other propaganda, they finally cave.

W and Cheney misrepresented the briefings.

MrRodgers -> RE: Nutsuckers imploding, admit to their lies (4/18/2016 9:59:57 AM)

We knew this but also brings to mind the obvious question, what else did they deliberately mislead the American public about ? I have a few ideas.

This is the takeover of the neocons and why I no longer vote repub. Now it's the TeaPartiers and they are equally mislead and misleading.

KenDckey -> RE: Nutsuckers imploding, admit to their lies (4/18/2016 10:39:14 AM)

You mean like the Gulf of Tonkin Incident? The intelligence community lies, misrepresents or just plain ole makes a bad analysis and we go to War? Yes, it is the responsibility of the POTUS affected, and if the POTUS believes the report and passes it onto the public, later determines it to be false and fails to take appropriate action against whomever in the intelligence community, then the POTUS is at fault for not disciplining his administration, not necessarily the war. I think the POTUS is more remiss for not requesting a declaration of war and not extraditing us from the war, once the intelligence community comes clean.

Nope, not like Tonkin. the intel was massaged and lied about in the W Cheney nutsucker world domination fiasco.

ThatDizzyChick -> RE: Nutsuckers imploding, admit to their lies (4/18/2016 11:00:54 AM)

I thought this was common knowledge by now.

mnottertail -> RE: Nutsuckers imploding, admit to their lies (4/18/2016 11:15:00 AM)

As you see, it is not the nutsucker misinformation and propaganda machine is spewing overtime to insure it is murky.

Nnanji -> RE: Nutsuckers imploding, admit to their lies (4/18/2016 11:43:08 AM)

This is just the Hillary campaign trying to derail the nutsuckes discussion of her blaming a video for Bengazi. So far all of Hillary's defense has been the "Na ah" and "did not you did" type which is wearing thin in an election year. And, as she is trying to claim Obama's third term as his meaningful foreign policy err, (pun intended) the campaign has to resort to the time honored Obama formula of, "it's Bush's fault". It's good to see that Mathews "trapped" this CIA guy into finely telling the truth. Even though Hillay's good buddy Podesta was at CIA for a while, it's clear the Bush/Cheney legacy mummed him from speaking the truth publicly. So this is finally a good thing. All due to quiver up my leg trapping an experienced CIA briefer. Hooray!!!

mnottertail -> RE: Nutsuckers imploding, admit to their lies (4/18/2016 11:52:23 AM)

I think that there is more proof that it is Sarah Palin and the nutsuckers derailing and deflecting from the fact that she can see Russia from her house.

Well the big difference of course is that the Iraq war was just one historically, abysmal episode, in the neocons chicanery. There were what 10 or 12 Benghazi episodes during Bush...not a peep, 5 million emails lost at DOJ...not a peep, an 1863 OCC law used by W and co. to stop the states attys. general from going after wall street shit paper and so that all-hat-no-cattle, dumb ass redneck...get's re-elected, so we had 8 years of their criminal bullshit !!

Podesta doesn't even come into play here because it was Patraeus who was DCIA, didn't give intel that wasn't then turned into a 'lie' by Obama to invade Libya. In fact the report, issued in November 2014, debunked persistent allegations, and found there was no intelligence failure, no delay in sending a CIA rescue team, no missed opportunity for a military rescue, and no evidence the CIA was covertly shipping arms from Libya to Syria.

The two-year investigation by the GOP-led Intelligence panel found that the CIA and the military acted properly in responding to the attacks on a U.S. diplomatic compound and CIA annex, and asserted no wrongdoing by Obama administration appointees. HERE

AND YES !! After your wife begs you to allow bro-in-law to move in just for a couple months to get back on his feet and he totals the car and burns the house down, you do in fact blame him for having to move to an apt. and taking the bus to work.

Oh yea, I missed that great reasoning. To think, we could have had instead, maybe, just maybe Palin as sec. of state at the time and there wouldn't be...a peep. I mean after all, if you can see Russia from your house, you too should be a slam dunk for SOS...or something.

Really. Quote chapter and verse of any incident you think was bengazi-like that occured under Bush, and why you think so.

Post em up. Show me 10-12 incidents where american citizens were killed, in attacks on our embassy or consulate.

Oh! Wait! I get it now. This is an anti-nutsucker quoting an anti-nutsucker. So two anti's make a positive. So we're just being warned not to fall for the nutsucker propaganda that mnotter is always telling us about. Right! So the real meassage, mnotter, is to blow this off as propaganda, isn't it.

Oh goodness! I love how you say all this stuff like:

A) nobody has heard all of this before,
B) if you say it enough some of it may become true,
C) you may change somebody's mind,
D) saying it just one more time will make you a less bitter person.

mnottertail -> RE: Nutsuckers imploding, admit to their lies (4/18/2016 12:42:43 PM)

one american was killed, 59 non-americans were killed, nutsuckers do a lot of outsourcing. all were benghazi like in that an embassy was attacked and people were killed, there are no more distinctions or differences than that.

But lets talk say about St. Wrinklemeat, kills 60+ embassy people, like 20 some americans, runs like a coward, shits his pants, goes and whines to congress for 260 million for security for the embassy, kills like 22 more, 2 americans. runs like a coward, shits his pants, gets some 299 american servicemen killed, shits his pants and runs like a coward.

EVERYTHING!

Um how do you spell coup dé tat?

Its not the neo cons, the neocons do not have the power or means to do such a thing without approval from the string pullers above.

The best place to look is who profitted?

Military, banks, gubblmint

and on whos backs?

yep we the slaves who are dumb enough to believe we have anything but a crookocracy while we fight over the scraps of kibbles n bits that they slobber on the floor!

i know vile critter parts wont be able to do it but can anyone else make an intricate and valid connection between cheney saying "We know he [Saddam Hussein] has been absolutely devoted to trying to acquire nuclear weapons. And, we believe he has, in fact, reconstituted nuclear weapons" to the public and the Iraq war being "Based On Lies?"

otherwise, what I see is an instance of "you cant get there from here."

the question is rather, what were they saying to congress?

and what about the members of congress on both sides of the aisle who heard the same briefings---or did they not?

if bush and cheney knew something from the intelligence reports but said something else to congress, or if the CIA knowingly told falsehoods, then perhaps the war is based on a lie, otherwise, no.

You are talking about someone who believed that when a Rep said the e-mail investigation hurt Hillary that "prooved" that mean that the reps had admitted that the hearings were purely political.
