During my time on this site (and others not unlike it) I have come across a lot of men wanting to dress up as women, sometimes as a form of humiliation, other times simply because they take pleasure in looking like/being treated like a woman.

Does the opposite ever occur? Are there women out there dressing up as men for sexual purposes? And are there Doms m/f who might find pleasure in helping a woman become a convincing man, teaching her how to behave and look?

Does anyone have any ideas or experiences with this? Please. It's an idea I can't quite get out of my head.

Well seeing as there is no social repercussions from a woman dressing the same way as a man, I doubt it.

You and I must have very different ideas of what the term 'social repercussions ' mean.

in many situations a woman dressing as a man and acting the same as a man is acceptable where the opposite is not true.

OK, what exactly are the social repercussions of a woman wearing jeans and a t-shirt?

There's nothing 'masculine' about wearing jeans and a t-shirt. If that is the extent of your idea of cross-dressing, I understand your dismissal of the idea. I'm talking three piece suits, fake beards/moustaches, socks down the trouser front etc.

My friend was yelled at the other day for wearing a beard while going to a cossplay event. I know a butch girl who is often mocked and ridiculed. Women do face repercussions if they choose to wear something that is labeled exclusively male in public. Not unisex stuff like jeans and sweats.

Look up george sand.
do you mean like this, or as a more "understated"

Personally it doesnt matter.
Packing is a popular thing in some groups. Dressing as a man isnt new...but for me personally I see more "repurcussions" on male cross dressers.
I always think of shania twain in Feel like a woman.
But people are always looking to fault someone different/out of the ordinary.

My old room mate (a lesbian) wore a suit and tie to work every day at a large corporation. No one ever said a word to her about it.

I used to wear a skirt, pants and tie when I went thru my "new wave" phase after the punk phase. It helped that I worked in an office.
But I have a weird head and could never find a decent hat to work, but changed to pencil skirts n pillbox hats soon after...all for the want of a hat to go with the suit.
Ive never tried to "dress" as a guy tho, I can see the interest.

Drag kings exist :P Some are damn sexy and others it's like O_o whoa, how'd you do that!
Drag Kings are a parody of "traditionally masculine" roles/looks, just like Drag Queens are a parody of "traditionally feminine" roles/looks. Just look at queer theory folks.
For drag kings, it's so much more than just putting on (or making up) a fake beard. You need to change how you walk, you gotta strap down your breasts (pain for those big-chested women), lower your voice when you talk to people (unless you've had any kind of vocal training, this isn't easy for everyone), possibly wear your hair differently (medium-long hair folks might put it in a low ponytail or throw on a short wig), and change the overall dimension of your face via makeup (give illusions of highlights and shadows).

A good friend of mine is a drag king for local LGBT+ clubs whenever they have drag nights. For their superhero/villain night at a local club of theirs, they did a villanious look based off of the incredibles and it looked great! For their senior (college) art show exhibit they dressed in drag (looked amazing, they did spfx for their exhibit).

They are called lesbians.

But there seems to be a disparity and my mind operates on an equal premises, with bouts od delicious madness.

I remember trying on my wives dress and I believed i looked sexier - hell she never knew shh just the once

strap on from the ladies two people but I am quite old - therefore an argument could be made some female dominates are

But as I said why such a disparity? I do not understand

used to have trans night for both genders at a gay club I attended in Indiana years ago.
I was lesbian at the time, so doesn't qualify with what you mean BUT I was sometimes discriminated against. I did bind my breasts although being an E cup, it was hard to do so well except in winter when easier to layer and top with a mens sweater. I wore jeans but still wore a packer or my actual strap(vaculock)
Anyways, it may not get the draws like a man in a dress where YOU live, but I assure you when I was in states like Kentucky in small little towns, I was treated rudely and flat out refused service before. So I would think there are still places a female dressing as a male, would be prone to negative treatment if discovered she is in fact female.

Every slut I've ever dated wants my fucking shirts.
T-shirts, collared dress shirts, oxfords, you name it, they take em.
Even the wifebeaters.
Claims some silly nonsense, like the like sleeping surrounded by the smell of me.
But now, after this thread, we know better, don't we now....

Not all cross dressers and/or drag queens/kings are gay. A good chunk of them are straight or some other orientation, they just see dressing up as a fun past time/hobby.

Crossdressing, whether M2F or F2M, is probably one of the most misunderstood things that there is, as it can vary in reason, and go well beyond a guy wearing a dress or a woman wearing mens clothing. I don't think F2M is as talked about because it IS ok for women to wear mens clothing, and it is accepted by society. However a man wearing a dress is branded as a deviation. There are Drag Kings, and I have known many F2M BDSM transsexuals in various stages of transition who were some of the hardest bdsm players in the area. When I was serving my mandatory stint as a male Dom, in order to suppress my real feminine submissive feelings even more, I had a female sub who got into the Drag King thing, and did the whole nine yards, even cutting her own hair, and using small pieces for her sideburns and beard. I decided to give her some male training one day, and left her instructions for her complete day of being a guy. She was to get up and find some good porn to masturbate to right off the bat, get dressed as a man, but no bath, as this was to be her male day off, check the scores on yesterdays games, hit the couch for some Springer, and a bunch of other stuff. Right off the bat, she went looking for porn and got a virus on her computer ... Welcome to the tangled web males weave!!
