Often if I've taken a shower before I go to the gym to work out and come home (I don't use showers in public gyms) I just towel off and get dressed because my sweat doesn't really smell like if I hadn't showered since the day before.
"Fresh" sweat I guess.

Phermones are definitely real, and effective in attracting the opposite sex (or same sex, if one is gay or lesbian). For women, though (if anyone is interested) there is a perfume on the market made with real human female phermones. It's not that expensive, either. The name of it is Phermone. You can buy it from the Home Shopping Network (HSN, online). It is manufactured by Marilyn Miglin.

It works! (I used it around my one and only Dominant. Of course, he never needed much "enoucouragement", hehe. I like natural woman scent on myself, and especially on men) smell very much, too.

Susan,yes, they do have an effect.. I remember the first time I bought that Drakkar stuff, I was in a large dept store in a mall in Portland, Me. and the sales lady was really trying to "sell" me (I think she was on commission) on this men's cologne which was Drakkar and I told her to put some on my right wrist and the other brand, I forget what it was, on my left wrist.
I then went out into the mall and stopped about 5 or 6 women and asked them to smell my wrists to see which cologne I should buy. (I believe in "research")
ALL of them told me to get the Drakkar!

I never had a problem like this with any of my men...a simple shower does the trick. Sometimes, though...a person's natural smell is just not your cup of tea, no matter how clean they are.

Then you have a different issue; one of essential lack of chemistry.

Ummmm..... all my life I was told I had another father so I'm really not sure, all I know for sure is that my brother is my biological father. You never know though, especialy if Daddy got around very much... he sold vacuum cleaners all over.

Phermones have also been synthetically produced for fragrances for decades... synthetic phermones are derived from pig sweat.  [sm=mrpuffy.gif]

It's a question of degree. Most of us prefer to go to bed with someone who's had a shower and doesn't smell. I'm fairly relaxed about a bit of dirt etc but I don't think I've ever been with anyone who was particularly smelly or in a dirty job. I also prefer dominant men who aren't too hung up on cleanliness. Sex can be messy and sweaty and dirty.

I have to say I'm with the OP on this. I don't mind a bit of sweat or dirt, but if it's obvious, pervading, or emitting a bad smell I just won't go near it. It's not that the object itself is dirty that it a turn off, it's the thought of putting that object somewhere dirty things do not belong, for example, in my mouth, that’s a turn off. Besides that, I think being clean (no, I don't mean sterilized, just a showered today and brushed my teeth kind of clean) shows that you care about yourself and about how you will affect others. For instance, if I'm going have a sub performing body worship on me I have them cleanse me first. It is a great mood-setter and there is no wondering if the body part is clean/safe to put in your mouth.
 
On the subject of scent: I know they are just cheap little body sprays but I find Axe and Tag to be oh-so-yummy and have never yet met a woman who disagreed. It seems like they found some pheromone or something that just clicks in to my brain and shouts- I want that! Anybody else here experienced this Axe/Tag Phenomenon? Is there a female equivalent that makes those normally attracted to women sit up and take notice, regardless of the actual attractiveness of the female or prior experience with the sent?

Nasty Daddy: I did know that (sort of, except for the pig sweat part). Thank you for enlightening me about that. You appear to be a verbal dead ringer for distinct parts of my real father, btw, who can be, more or less, a walking encyclopedia (a compliment, yes). Anyway - This Pheromone line by Marilyn Miglin on the Home Shopping Network (HSN.com, click on beauty, then Marilyn Miglin), really is reasonably priced and (supposedly) contains human female phermones. 

The manufacturer, Marilyn Miglin, claims she is one of two manufacturers in the world who uses them in beauty products. I have a "set" of the body lotion, cologne and bath oil. It smells great, and it appeared to have  a very positive affect on my one Dominant.

Yes, I'm with Artimis. I am oh so very happy some men love natural girl smell (really and truly) but - still want to know:

Artimis: I'd comment on TAG, but have never experienced it.

Are there any manufactured scents (perfumes, colognes) on females they really love?

This was a fun thread despite it's potentially stinky nature and thanks to everyone's sense of humor it was a fun read.

Comparing dogs sniffing and licking each other's asses to men shaking hands is a scary thought also...

Do you just be courteous and go ahead, shake it (no matter what goo-infested smegma grows all over it)... and then subtly wipe your hand off later on his back?
