It's always liberals who protest the rightwing. How many protests/riots have there been outside a Clinton rally? A Bernie Sanders rally?

Oh,there were nutsuckers in the teaparty that sort of did stupid shit and milled around before it was taken over by the Kochs. There were them nutsuckers up in oregon, gordon kohl, claude dallas and shit, but yeah, mostly they try to shut down and fuck up the government and shit their pants. (oh that old man paul thing at the RNC).


But by and large, the revolution, the tea party, the wars are left to the left wing, while nutsuckers shoot lawyers and brag and shit their pants.

It is the price we pay for our freedom of speech. If protests, even unlawful ones, are suppressed protest can turn to insurrection. We do need to make the attempt to hold protesters responsible for their unlawful actions but venting of anger must be allowed to preserve the union.

When it comes to the protests themselves their purpose is only to draw attention to a dispute. The protests very seldom change minds... in fact violent ones will work against the protesters. But protests will make people think of the issue and choose a side and this is whats important.

I would bet that these protests did exactly opposite than what the protestors intended. Here you have people wrapping themselves in Mexican flags… not American flags, and reinforcing exactly what Trump is preaching.
