Protesters Outside of Trump Rally - 4/29/2016 9:04:44 AM

Status: offline 		I was very disappointed in this - it turned into a riot, with rocks being thrown at innocent people in cars getting off the freeway. (I used to take that very same exit to get home)

Here's the thing...if you want to protest - great, it's your right. It's also Trump's right to speak. But, scenes like this don't help the cause.

Status: offline 		When he came here it went beautifully. Sure people protested but it was quietly and respectfully believe it or not.
Maybe because they know some of his supporters can be if prompted insane in the membrane. Lol.

Well, let the monkeys throw rocks and show they need to be in a tree or cage before the boulder rolls down the mountain and crushes them like bugs.

You do know that if Trump becomes president, he will be lucky to finish his term. He would be one of the most hated and in jeopardy. Not only from the slighted losers but the government controllers too. Hands no longer in the cookie jar.

No, that was in Anaheim a few days prior when the town council tried to put through an Anti-Trump directive.

Pressing a white ice pack to the right side of her face, Linda Reedy of Laguna Niguel said she was also hit with pepper spray.

“All I remember is a young man jumped on one of my friends and I told him to get off. Then I got pepper-sprayed,” said Reedy, 53, wearing a U.S.A. shirt and cap.

Actually they are pretty tolerant of other people. They just are not tolerant of people whom are they themselves, intolerant. If the "..leftists/liberals..." were as you stated, there would have been a hundred times the number that showed up. Hundreds of protesters did show up, but only a tiny fraction resorted to violence.

People are allowed to protest if it is done peacefully. That includes the language shouted towards people they are protesting. But when things turn threatening or even violence breaks out; that's not protected speech under the 1st amendment.

Hopefully the police captured all the real offenders from that riot. If not, then hopefully in the coming days/weeks, after reviewing film and media, they arrest any others.

Yup. Neither party in this campaign is lilly white. But, resorting to violence and harming innocent people does not gain sympathy for what ever message you're trying to get across.

In this particular case, many of the people engaging in the riot were wearing Mexican flags on their backs like capes....which just reinforces the stereotype....which is a damn shame.

Status: offline 		That's why we are building the wall. It will have the American flag on one side and the Mexican flag on the other. There will be a little door we open and we will say "Who goes there!"
And you can only see each other's eyes. We will say
We will grant you one of three wishes:
1) pay up or.....
2) go back or.....
3) if they refuse either ..... Pepper spray!!!!!!

Trump predicts 'riots' if Republicans deny him the nomination and that's his own side team bananas. Therefore logically one can conclude he will eat, spit roasted with a side plate of chingeree chitins, all liberals and lefties.

are you kidding me? on the whole its the left who are "intolerant" of people who disagree and who are violent in response to it. is that an inherent quality in a progressive worldview? maybe, maybe not, though I would argue that it is. nevertheless, on the whole, its the lefties who are the usual suspects behind shutting down free speech or resorting to violence.

That myopic PoV could only come from a rightie.

Righties say the same about the lefties as the lefties say about the righties.
Those that aren't at either end will say nothing or attack both sides.
Religion, politics, or whatever subject has nothing whatsoever to do with whether a person is tolerant or not.
Tolerance is a subjective personal trait, nothing to do with what they do, what they believe or anything else.

If you want to make a political point or make mileage out of something completely unrelated makes you ubtuse and myopic.
If you have any evidence whatsoever that 'lefties' are any worse than 'righties' then please cite a creditable source.
Otherwise it's just your personal perspective and opinion. Nothing else.

I would suspect Trump to be correct on that, people getting very pissed off now.

Like what happens at the rally. Continue to be civil my ass people pepper spraying women and children.
What do you think is gonna happen? Are people expected to say:
Oh my dear, ouch, that man assaulted me. Oh my goodness my poor grand babies, crying. Those silly silly boys. We must be civil, we must.
