Worse, it wasn't even his money. He borrowed it from his employer, telling him that his mother needed the money for medical care.

The employer agreed, and will get his money back by withholding $US 250 a month from my buddy's salary.

Now, as my budy works very poorly, his employer would like to fire him, but he cannot do so if he wants to see his money back.
