To be fair, it may well be his personality that's the big draw. Or at least the 'personality' that he projects. Clearly, that's what got him the job he's got now, anyway.

All I can see is some ordinary bloke with an ordinary personality. Certainly not handsome - but not all that clever, nor all that funny, either. The first time I saw any part of his big US show was only a couple of weeks ago - and I was flabbergasted. All I could think was, 'Eh? An ordinary slob that you could meet in any ordinary pub in England - and he's got *that* job? How? Why??'

I belong to no less than eight of these BBW groups on FL. Hunky men do make the occasional appearance in the threads. Sadly, the main complaint from the ladies (and one I can attest to) is that most of these studs are just as pernicious as their more average or common counterparts. In fact, more so. Many of them will savor the flavor of a large lady but wouldn't be seen in public with any. "Good enough to fuck, not good enough for a relationship." is the most pervasive whine reported by the women.

Which explains why I'm still single, for a long ass time.

As my fat ass won't settle for that nonsense.

Now, when that particular personality deficit of the hunks is amended? I might agree with your point. Not before.

I've heard that there's much less tolerance for Wossy's kind of speech impediment in the USA, too ... it's a mark of camp out there. Or so a female American friend - one who's quite strongly lefty/right on, too - once told me.

Hah! You could be right. I don't know about the speech impediment thing. My friend had messaged me to say that she'd just watched an episode of a British wildlife programme with 'a guy who couldn't sound his Rs' (Chris Packham, I'm guessing) and wondered how a kid could get away with 'sounding so effete' - especially as a TV presenter. But said friend could just have been giving me her personal point of view - or indeed yanking my plonker.
