Talk about someone's hair in regard to the being President of the US ? Now I see why this country is so fucked up. People must vote for the better looking candidate, and theparties pick them based on who has the better tailor. The nicer tie.

I want to see someone out there wearing a Tshirt. I want to see them drive up in an S-10 pickup truck with a gun rack in it. Tennis shoes. (which aren't really just for tennis anymore are they ?) I want to see them drink a beer and hear them burp.

Doing it the other way has not worked.

Sad as it may be to admit, I do understand the philosophy behind the OP. When a public figure, especially one who seeks a leadership position, makes such a complete ass of themselves, everything is open to mockery regardless of how irrelevant. I live in NJ and have Chris Christie as governor, he of Bridgegate fame and many insults. My Weight Watchers leader has taken us all to task for making comments about Christie's weight and I'm particularly guilty of that because I refer to Christie as Jabba the Hutt.

And who are you? Why in the world would we believe a dang thing you say? Christ on crack.
People share links to give perspective, to give context, to share thoughtful ideas, to support rigorous debate, to recognize that not everyone has read or heard or seen exactly the same thing, experienced the same information.

Let me introduce you to Freshman Composition. (Just off the top of my head) When writing, we share details, examples, expand upon concepts, define terms, bring in relevant theories, use strong lexicon to clarify our ideas. And when we are referring to a particular incident, concept, or theory, we share that historical information so that there can be actual discussion.

You don't even have a thesis statement. You have a hook. Nothing more. That's about 1% of any writing.
