Nope, not interchangeable. You might google around for 'curriculum vitae'. You generally don't get real wordy info on a 214. (usually we skip the DD, since pretty much the bulk of DoD documents are DD) such as a 201 file. Anyone can type up a CV (I've done quite a few for friends). I, for one, won't accept anything short of a DD-214 as *PROOF* that someone served in the military (and possibly their MOS although, even those are "fudged" {by the government} on occasion).

I see no reason to ask any nutsucker for proof out here, they never supply it. I doubt to many would slap their 214 here, and they would get taken down (soc sec and all the other prohibitions yanno) So, leap of faith, but just like the other side, guys who pose as girls, you can talk for just a little with them and figure out if they were in or are hosing you. (agreed not much beyond that, but hell as we all know, everybody was in the DIA or some under the covers shit, nobody was a cook).........
