Why? I can understand having pictures on your profile depicting things that you are into, but baring in mind the "Who's Viewing Me" page only shows your picture until it's clicked on would it not be a better idea to accurately represent yourself in your main profile picture? Just a pet peeve!

Well sometimes you can tell a picture is obviously fake, and if thats the case the person is probably fake too.

Its like they are asking to be filtered.

If I was excellent at Shibari, I could absolutely see myself as the type of person who would want to show my rope art as a main pic. It's not a picture of me, but as a picture of my rope work. (Seriously though, my rope work kind of sucks. I can bind people, but I'm not one of those folks who have perfect knots.) On the other site, I change my profile picture frequently. Depending on the time of year, I have various wax shots for holidays, seasons, etc. I don't think I've had a primary pic of "me" over there for a very long time.

What gets me going is when they have a girls pic and it's one from a Google search or a fake dick pic and they have the nerve to call you fake because you're not into what you're into or refuse togivethem your kick name without getting to know them better. Omg that burns me up

If it's not a picture of a present partner, then what it says to me is that he doesn't respect privacy. And that if he'll show his ex's picture without her permission, then he'll do it to you also. To me, it's an indicator that he's not trustworthy.

Yeah, I generally avoided guys who said they were single but had photos of women on their profiles, when I was looking. If he was poly, that was reasonable, though I still wasn't interested, but the single guys seemed universally unethical or were posting clearly fake photos.

A guy that is looking and has photos of someone else in his photos would have no chance with me because there is no chance in hell I'd be becoming one of those photos. I found out that my ex playmate was using a photo of one of his ex's in a profile I hadn't known about. I'm damn sure she didn't know about it, and that did not go down well with me at the time. If I ever find out that he uses my photos now that we have split I'll be going to his place and ripping his cock off. needles

I do not understand anyone with fake pictures, porn pictures thieved, stolen pictures, meme picture, on their profiles on any site. Other than it being against pretty much all sites TOC. As for you Op I scarcely find you credible, the least credible of everyone above me.

It doesn't have to be a pic of the person. It can just be something that represents them in some way, their personality, interests, etc. I don't use pics of myself. No way in hell. But I often use pics that appeal to my smartass side or twisted sense of humor. It gives people an idea of who they may be communicating with, without giving away too much info. A pic is worth a thousand words, they say.

I asked a couple of femdom friends what they thought would look good as profile pictures, and did that. After a brief feeling of surprise at what I was told and a little bit of further investigation I thought, 'Ah, I get it!' The opposite sex is not on the same wavelength as oneself, but it's easy enough to tune into it.
