Judgments

People are born each day and each night,
Each an individual, each with their own wants and needs,
Why do we judge them in so many ways?
What is the story of their nights and days?
Do we know the real reason they are here?
Do we know their experiences, their lives, what they may know?
No one can judge who someone is, and what they may know,
All they can do is get impressions, and many don’t get them right!

Judging others from what they say, or from rumors or stories,
Causes some no worries,
For they believe they know more then anyone else,
For they compare you, to themselves,
How can you know if my experiences are real or false, or fake, or right?
How can you know, what I have done in my life?
What makes you judge them?
What do you think, makes you right?

You who come and play your games,
You who make your rooms, and your families and clubs,
Who sits in judgment and calls all others friend or bub,
But, runs behind their back,
Talks and talks and makes your sneak attacks

You talk to others in back rooms; you tell them of their utter doom,
You tell them to run from me; you tell them I don’t know life,
Yet to my face you say all is ok, you lie to my face, night and day.

I know your kind, sneaky and unsure, jealous and conniving,
And deceiving, and to the public, oh so pleasing.

You think your way is right, it is the only way to go and you judge yourself so right,
And all who do it differently, you tell them that you are right,
You tell others their ways are not true, it is no way to be
For my friend you’re judging me,
And I refuse to fight, I will let you be, and let you go your way,
But in the end, you shall see,
Your judging others is not right,
For someone will stay and fight,

Listen to what I say here today,
Listen to my words carefully, I say,
We all have experiences and have been around,
We see the new ones, as they come, into to Collarme!
We all know, whose room it is,
We all know, you look on us, as your kids,
You wish to have things done right,
You wish to protect those that are here,
Yet, you only see one way,
And some of these little ones run away, and refuse to fight.
CollarMe is losing in the end, cause of pre-judgments my friend.

If questions should arise, and arise, I am sure they will,
For each of us is a different as can be,
There is no reason to talk to others, and tell those rumors or lies,
There is no reason for deceiving and being, oh so, two way,
Be a man, be real, and be kind,
Stand up and say what you must,
Question the person and listen and have some trust.
Don’t run to others and hide, saying you didn’t say what they said you did,
We are all adults here my friend,
We receive the pms and messages; we know what is said behind our backs,
We don’t say much or anything at all,
Because we know you will be pushed to a wall,
Yes the room and group is yours,
Yes you are a God for sure,
Your people run it very well, and report to you when there is some hell,
But don’t believe as you do, because all the stories and rumors are not true.

We all know some here will lie, and others will say she or he is just a cybersex girl or guy!
It’s not the truth what was said of me, I don’t cybersex, every woman I see,
It’s not the truth, that I know, not what I do,
Or that I don’t know people or the lifestyle,
That’s all untrue.

Don’t go by perceptions, and rumors, or stories you see,
Then go behind my back and condemn me.
Be a man and be the Dominate you can be,
Don’t believe all the garbage you hear,
Stand up like a man, don’t run and hide,
Throwing snide whispers and pms on the side,
If you have questions about whom I am,
Talk to me and face me as a man.

For who are you to judge all others,
Remember friend, we are all sisters and brothers,
The levels are different here you see, we are all learning to be ourselves and to be free,
So, do not sit in judgment and judge me, for you know not who I am,
Be a man and come face me!

To judge is to form an opinion on what you see based on how you think.
When you judge one non complimentary, they sometimes raise a stink.

"How DARE you sit in judgment? You do not know me at all!"
But is it not the ones who resent them, who really build the wall?

Judgments keep us safe, like if we can cross the street,
or do we feel safe enough for a face to face meet?

Judging is human nature, and part of the process of our mind,
Never use judgment, and pain is not far behind.

I don't hide and whisper, I speak up loud and strong,
And if I do misjudge someone, I admit that I'm wrong.

I don't run or hide though, for I believe I'm right
To use my intution to help me *see the light*.

So resent me for my judgments, and ignore the words I say,
But I'll stay safe and happy, this and every day.

I moved this to the lounge before I noticed you had posted it in more than one place. I kept the one with the earlier time stamp and deleted the others, since posting the same thing in multiple sections is considered spamming the board.

I was tempted to try to write a smart assed reply, but anything I could come up with would be completely lame compared to Sandy's artful retort.

Thank you. I freely admit this is one of my pet peeves. I only read one in 10 strings any more and reply to even less because I get so tired of people who come and ask for advice, but if the advice is not what they were hoping for start the *poor me* and *you don't understand* lines.

I actually admit, when I DO reply I tend to do so with things that I don't agree. I LIKE differing views and opinions. I don't NEED people to sympathize with me and tell me how *right* I am, I want them to let me see the other side and possibly allow me a chance to understand more or from a differing point of view.

::Laughing:: I was actually happy with how easy that was to write though. All I did was look up the word *judge* :

1 : to form an opinion about through careful weighing of evidence and testing of premises

Isn't that the reason people post? They want other's opinions?

Though this is kinda off topic, the original post says (to me) one way to handle being judged. This week, I found out I got an honorable mention (which means, though I wasn't in the top 3, I was in the top 5%) in a 24 hour writing contest. I could have 2 different reactions. I could scream and yell at *why* mine was in the top 5% but not good enough for one of the top 3 prizes, or I could be honest with the things that *I* did or didn't do to give it that *extra*. The first one being, I hate rewriting, so I wrote it in 30 minutes, Master proofed for typo's, and I sent, rathing than taking advantage of the entire time allowed.

It isn't easy to admit that I know I am a lazy writer. Being dyslexic, I sucked at English, and other spell check, I just don't *want* know what I'm doing wrong. *But* even though I don't want to know, I DO realize that I am at least partially responsible for not doing as well as I might for the simple reason that *I* am unwilling to change it.

My point in this is: When I post on places where I post my writing, I do so expecting and even WANTING criticism. Even if someone is cruel, I would rather an honest opinion than a bunch of people stroking my ego.... but maybe that's just me....

There's been a lot of people bitching and complaining at another fora I belong to about this very topic... How DARE someone judge... etc... I thoght it might be good for everyone there to read it as well... VERY well written!

Feel free to post a link to it here if it's a BDSM site, and if not, just put *by [email protected]* at the bottom.

Thanks
