ORIGINAL: Diffident As someone who values his privacy I am a bit alarmed by the prospect of facial recognition software. It is early days but software already exists that could potentially find all of your social media profiles from a single photograph, including sites like this one. It is seems difficult to stop it from getting better and more widely available in the future. Here is a link:Scary stuff It is probably wise to not allow anything on the internet attached to your name or face that you would not want your boss/family/friends to know about. If you are that worried about boss family and friends you should consider hanging up the internet altogether, anybody and i do mean anybody can do a badic search on your name and find out the basics of where your name oruginated first, how many ip's have been associated with it, who the basic isp provider is and the person who paid the fee to access the internet associated with that ip, now.lets say you have used oh say gmail which blocks access to isp providers information as its using say third party software yeah that is true and that will stop 99% of the searches however lets say while you are using that account you go into ebay and use a paypal account to purchase an item that asks for a digital signature or a credit card and you use that feature, well guess what your ip, signature and user id is catalogued regardless of the safties used, its there on record for both the buyer and the seller ssl or ss securex software can be accessed using heuristic software which basucally ties you user name, digital signature and isp and ip together, now most teenagers can access this software, and most adults using government search provider can access this information, i myself use it religiously when i enter into a contract with anybody i do business with, this includes banks, business's and landlords and ezpecially those i bring into my personal livelyhood, The point is if you are on the internet you are already tracked, you want anomininity distance yourself.from the digital.world All your hoopla and boasting does nothing but increase your trackable id. So what you put online you better be comfortable.with as.much with it offline as you are with it online For all if the grammar police out there , im abit tipsey and yes im abit lazy to go back and edit my words, ill do so later when i sober up Hmm.third edit so far, also as a note the scary links posted above, i havent looked at because im tipsy, but if it is not there you shoukd consider anyone who uses GOOGLE search engine should note that google wants to become the leader in information and they tag everything you do online while using their software, so take comfort un knowing that somewhere out there is a folder with your name and alaises with every search you did while.using their software Ok stopping now the letters are becomming a blurr
