I am not sure exactly what problem they had with Noriega but I can probably find out, but why ? I do ot care. All I know is that the US government is like all the horror stories you heard about the "mafia" and "the old country" combined. My Greatgrandmother used to bitch about Tito in Checkoslovakia. My Grandmother told me in those countries you don't really own anything, they can come and take it away.

Well now lookie at those civil forfeiture laws. They can take anything you own without a trial.

The problem is they think they can do that in any country too small to fight back. They don't want us to have guns for the same reason they don't want Iran to have nukes. Because they know they have fucked everyone over and eventually those weapons will be pointed at them.

They are not out to save you, they are out to save their own stealing fucking asses.

But I do agree that it is wrong to have explosives at a supposed place of worship. Keep that shit at home, and hopefully out of the reach of children.

There are so many stupid motherfuckers in this world I am surprised some shit hasn't happened that reduces the population greatly. Fucking bunch of idiots.

(Now....THAT was actually fucking funny!.....You may have potential yet ("may"....don't get a fat head)....not sure if you spelled rouse correctly....gonna do some research on that....not a woid I use often enough to know correct usage).

I think your grandmother got lost somewhere Termy. Tito was in Yugoslavia and I think the spelling for the other country is (or was) Czechoslovakia or similar

The real question is whether anyone who was part of the administration or ownership of the hall knew about the explosives. It wouldn't be the first time a fringe element hid their activities amongst the perfectly legitimate activities of the mainstream.

The prayer hall bought its own explosives? That's impressive!

That reminds e of the time when people were growing weed in certain rooms at a mall. They got away with it for some time. It was just that very few people went into those rooms, plug in the grow lights ad nobody is going to detect that. It was actually surprising to me, they did this for months, I think they got busted when starting their second crop.

That is tripped out... but stranger things have happened.

I tried to find more on that story but couldn't. It seems that all the Western news sources used the same original, Russian article. I wanted to find out how many people involved in that religious meeting place (want of a better phrase) knew what was going on. It struck me is as unlikely that everybody did because that would it far too obvious. The usual MO of these bombers, it seems, is to get on with their stuff in a back room of a respectable establishment. Even though it was an 'illegal mosque - whatever that means - the police must have known it was there and assumed that the attendees, though of a deeply conservative branch of Islam, were not dangerous.
