Really? Because Rod Serling said that the Shat would be proved right when the wing was examined on't telly. Fuck that.
(And John Lithgow got a much better looking gremlin as well, which is why I used that shot.)

Why would the pilot do that?
Something had to be wrong before the first turn.
This, of course, doesn't tell us if it was terrorism or not, the black box should help a lot.


Maybe the pilot, or indeed co-pilot had mental health issues.

And John Lithgow was killed by Dan Akroyd's monster in the ambulance.
But if you like the idea of the man facing his fears and saving a plane load of people spending the rest of his life in a mental institution, that is your choice.
