Who is blaming white men for the woes of women and minority races? Who is using white men as a "multipurpose scapegoat".

I understand that you feel very strongly that white men are somehow "victims", and I know that you feel this despite the massive mountain of evidence that suggests that white men are doing pretty ok right now.

Indeed, as a white man, I can tell you that I don't feel victimised, and nor do I feel threatened by the idea of equality.

If you stomp into a public forum and begin making baseless accusations like this, you're just going to reinforce the impression that people may have already arrived at that you're a pathetic whiner.

The idea that someone like you could induce anyone to "fuck off" did give me a good chortle mind you.

If you spent less time dwelling on your victim status and wallowing in your fear of equality, you might be more successful than you are now.

I suspect you'll always be a bit of a loser/misfit, but I am sure you'd feel better about yourself.

While it is true that white men have been responsible for some of the greatest atrocities of the past few centuries, to see any race, gender, creed or class as pure and the other side as defiled is to fall into the same trap as brought white men to the ascendancy in the first place. It’s very easy to be tempted to think, “White men ruled the world in the 20th century, now it’s time for the rest of us to take over and clean up the mess they made,” but the fact is that all races, genders, classes and creeds are deeply compromised by basic human flaws that no amount of revolutionary zeal will ever fix. This is why we need to build equal opportunity into our laws and correct past and current injustices as best we can, so that everybody has the same chance at getting a piece of the pie, irrespective of race, etc. Cynics will say, Yeah, good luck with that, but I remain hopeful, however slightly, that humanity is not irredeemably doomed.
