No it's not, and here is why: It completely screws Hillary over. It harms Clinton but will not alter the fact that she will be the Democratic nominee. And given that fact, it is not in Sanders' interest to damage her further, as he is now positioned to be a major influence on the Democratic party going forward, and he is far more likely to get more of his agenda accomplished under a Clinton presidency than under a trump one.
