maybe "thuggery" or "straightforward" are not simple English enough for those guys to understand ... perhaps you should not hawking those poor buggers too much, tweak[;)]

^5 s!!!

You rock girl !!!

(PS: Do you think that was simple enough for them?)

ChrchofDrk -> RE: Stephen Hawking angers Trump supporters with long words (6/1/2016 2:56:33 AM)

ya know. It's not Trump that scares me. What scares me is finding out just how many simple minded idiots there actually are in this country. That's what scares me.

respectmen -> RE: Stephen Hawking angers Trump supporters with long words (6/1/2016 2:57:04 AM)

That link I provided and a lot more out there, the left is always doing thuggery acts to silence the right.

You don't want to see that of course.

blnymph -> RE: Stephen Hawking angers Trump supporters with long words (6/1/2016 3:11:25 AM)

I see intellectual progress here

Tweakabelle has introduced a new hawking term into simple English: Thuggery

now its meaning for those who use it without knowing what it means:

http://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/thuggery

https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/thuggery

It seems that you don't know what it means if you think the video evidence I provided from the left isn't "thuggery"

That's what I was thinking when Obama got elected, especially the second time.

... He has bigger balls than any politician out there today.

Insult, prejudice, resentment, are not proof of big balls but of small brain.

I could buy the big balls thing if Flump didn't seem so thin skinned. Maybe it's all of the whining and special pleading that endears Flump to the moany little bitch above?

respectmen -> RE: Stephen Hawking angers Trump supporters with long words (6/1/2016 5:10:52 AM)

Speaking of what has been discussed above.

Social justice warriors try to block people from getting into Milo event (while claiming assault). Fail miserably.

The next lesson after No. 1 "Thuggery" should be No. 2: What is and means: "Evidence"

Try these

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evidence

since that one has plenty of difficult hawking terms there is even a simple English version (it is VERY VERY simple ...):

That's why Trump speaks in simplified English.

They say the most effective communication to the masses, you still gotta avoid using big words to get message across to all sectors.

I love Hawking's simple English version - just matching Trump style perfectly I would say.

"Trump bad man. Real bad man."

Good message. Real good message.

blnymph -> RE: Stephen Hawking angers Trump supporters with long words (6/5/2016 3:00:24 AM)

It might still be too complicated to grasp for some

Hillwilliam -> RE: Stephen Hawking angers Trump supporters with long words (6/5/2016 5:10:40 AM)

It's pretty simple.
Trump is aware that half of the country is of below average intelligence. Appeal to them, motivate them and you're golden.

Why am I not surprised to see you select a far Right, racist, borderline fascist party? This sad bunch of boofheads manage to create violence where ever they go in Australia. Almost all Aussies reject their brand of virulent hate and division and don't want these thugs in their neighbourhoods. In other countries these ALA people would be football hooligans.

Their supporters (at least those interviewed on TV) struggle to put two words together. For one of their supporters to complete a simple sentence in standard English is a major accomplishment. They set a new standard (read; depth) for moronic. They look like thugs, they act like thugs and they appeal to thugs and would-be thugs.

So, all up, just about perfect for you RM. A hate fest with plenty of scope for you to ingest the hate and add more hate of your own to the mix. An ALA meeting might be the only place in the world where your views are taken seriously.

So respectmen will fit right in then [:'(]

Cinnamongirl67 -> RE: Stephen Hawking angers Trump supporters with long words (6/5/2016 6:24:56 AM)

To those who have sight but are blind.
You think knowing big words like a word smith makes one intelligent?
That is a very one dimensional kind of intelligence.
People should not be offended when they are called simple. Simple can be of very high intelligence. Not just having sight but seeing.
Some people educated their way out of simple common sense. Some causing complications the simpletons smartly avoid or delete.
Change is sometimes for the better, but sometimes change is not.
Much love to the simpletons.[:D]

I believe I have said often he appeals to the lowest common denominator.
demagogue a political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument. I had to look the word up and origin.

It has been widely reported this year that king of the monkey people trump Depending on which article you read trump talks 3rd-6th grade level - which I found insulting to those grades.

I have been through many of his political statements and rally speeches and still wondering what things and stuff are and his inability to actually state/elaborate on what they are.

Agreed, but look at the alternative. And look now, the republican front runner is not in the old boy club.

The republicans CAUSED Obama to get elected by trying to appeal to a contingent that doesn't exist - religious nuts. I am probably as conservative as a moderate can be but I believe you do not teach ANY religio in public schools and there should be abortomats on every streetcorner. Well not quite but at least as many as there are fast food places.

Republicans make a few fatal mistakes that Trump might not. He says he is against abortion but so would any other republican. GW Bush had two terms and he didn't get it outlawed. The fact is none of these people are religious, they want to appeal to the religious. Been to a church lately ? Attendance is way down. People are abandoning religion and I believe that a natural phenomenon.

Now we got Trump who wants to try tariffs n shit to stimulate industry, but he will not be able to do it without congress. And congress does not like him. But the thing is, shit is so fucked up we don't know if Obamacare is a tax or not, just tax imports. It is not a tariff, it is a tax. The problem is that unless he puts forth an EO that the supreme court does not shut down, he needs congress to put something on his desk to do this. What kind of odds you figure on that ?

If I were he and got the big chair, I would go public and right on TV call on congress to put proper legislation on his desk. But they are ALL bought and paid for by the type of rich people who are the same as ever, liberal with what is ours and conservative with what is theirs. Not that Trump isn't. To test a person, give them power. You never know until you do.

But still, the President s one of five hundred people who shape the laws here. The major thing about a President is that he can start a war. Hillary Clinton has said she would start a war. Unless people's memories are even shorter than we think, this cripples her in the election.

Gonna be fun to watch how this all plays out.
