And I thought it was just me in the UK with this issue.  :)

(Up-date: I've just switched from Internet Explorer v8 to Firefox v47 and that appears to have fixed the issue for the moment.)

Also, looks like CollarSpace is having issues after all. It is going on and off line randomly.

...2009?

It has been like that since they went down for maintenance whatever that was I have noticed nothing no site improvements, no free cake. Us plebs were/are still not informed re maintenance/fixes/improvements and I am thoroughly disappointed to whom that may concern.

The problem will still occur in Firefox it happened to me a few seconds ago - save your work with the copy option and simply reload the page or refresh it.

of course it does no harm to use another browser just to check

Slaps op with frozen kipper for using IE8 - security fixes went the way of the dodo for that

Kazinar -> RE: Maintenance Notice (6/11/2016 5:49:24 AM)

So, after some digging, it seems that someone modified the PHP to the site.

What they've done is made a cock up that causes the server to loop during certain operations. They've linked the auth token to a task so you get on to he site fine, do something, trigger the bug and then have to wait for the process to complete.

If you chance browsers or go into incognito mode and logon again you get a new auth token and a new process ID on the server and everything works.

It's a stupid bug, it's easy to fix. Hopefully the PHP admins will see this and fix it.

Don't hold your breath.

Yes, I noticed it occurring in Firefox now too.

So for now, it's a case of bouncing between browsers as soon as the error hits.
:)
Browser pong.

From the scroller: Collarspace and Collarchat will be down for several hours on Friday June 3 for scheduled maintenance

I wonder if they're finally going to update this broke-ass forum software like they've been teasing us with for years.

It's free.

So's herpes.
It'd be nice if the site was a bit nicer than that one, wouldn't it?

Well......I don't even know how to discourse on that.

WhoreMods -> RE: Maintenance Notice (6/15/2016 4:41:46 AM)

That might sound a bit snide, but I just find the whole "it's free, how dare you expect it to work properly" argument ridiculous. There's plenty of free internet sites that are regularly updated and checked for glitches. This isn't one of them.

They're only teasing you Stef.
