MrRodgers -> AP reports it's HRC 'presumptive' nominee (6/7/2016 8:12:05 AM)

Are you all aware of what that really means ? Because the super dels. don't vote until 7/25, Sanders says no...not true. This fact renders the AP piece opinion.

When a world-wide news reporting service issues such a political opinion, which is as likely the owners...own this opinion. Now just who owns the AP ? Either you believe the mainstream press in that its owned by dozens of other press organizations, or it's owned by Reuters which is owned by the Rothchilds.

You decide whether or not the news is shaping events. OR...at least trying to.

This is the annoying thing I am talking about! About the damn media and their bias agenda!

They are manipulating California vote as they worry Bernie will win California.

Actually, AP is sorta right, and so is Bernie.

According to AP data, Hillary has enough pledged delegates from primaries + enough super-delegates that have said they are voting for her to win the nomination.

According to Bernie, super-delegates don't actually vote until the convention and can change their minds right up until they vote, so he doesn't count them, leaving Hillary short of the necessary votes to win the nomination outright.

So, both are sorta right.

dont count the chickens hatched until the convention.

FR

Let them croon all they want. The best way to get people to vote against you is to pre-declare victory, win in the polls, things like that. They might mobilise your opponents to vote and cost you the election.

The press is not that smart. They know how to write but don't really have any useful skills, except maybe a few.

the problem is that too many people dont vote Period.

Yes Lucy but voting is compulsory over here and look at some of the dead-heads we end up with !!! I will give Barnaby Joyce as a prime example and somehow or other he is deputy prime minister. I wouldn't employ him as deputy head in a bush-kindergarten.
People vote yes..............because they have to; but saraah works as a scrutineer in elections and you may or may not be surprised at how many people vote for Batman, Donald Duck, Obi Wan Kenobi et al, or just scrawl obsceneties across the voting form.

Termyn8or -> RE: AP reports it's HRC 'presumptive' nominee (6/8/2016 3:19:44 AM)

What is the penalty for not voting ?

Do you go to jail and since convicted lose your "right" to vote ?
