As usual, you don't quite have your facts straight, as it is only certain specific events where anybody is barred, and straight black women are barred from the LGBT event, and straight white women are barred from the ethnic minority event, and anybody who is not disabled is barred from disabled event.
Basically the "ban" applies only to those four events, one each exclusively for
1) LGBT (any colour, gender, and level of ability/disability allowed as long as they fit under the LGBT umbrella)
2) Women (any colour, orientation or level of ability/disability can attend as long as they are women)
3) Minorities (any minority person of whatever gender, orientation, and/or level of ability/disability can attend)
4) Disabled (any person with a disability may attend, regardless of gender, orientation or colour.
Why do you not actually read up to get the facts of the things you post about?
Now as to the whole affair, well it seems like a pretty stupid idea to me, I have never understood the point of barring people to create a "safe space". I can't think of any aspect of my life impacted by my status as a woman, a bisexual, or a minority (part Native) that I could not easily and comfortably discuss in a room with anybody else there with the intent to discus such issues. But hey, maybe my career has just made me more comfortable talking about shit with people of all descriptions.
