Interesting Medium Household Income by Ancestry in USA

Status: offline 		Very Interesting data. Top earners are Indians, Taiwanese who are chinese anyway, and Filipinos.

But I am not sure which category white americans are in, since they break them up so much. So I guess American American refers to them? If they are, it's surprising how badly they are doing.

Australian Americans assumingly are white earns the most ?

I wonder how they decide who gets to be British American or Australian American for example. Is it by who their parents are? Or does that mean, not born in the US, but migrated in?

Since all white people are American immigrants anyway, what is an American American?

But when Indians are topping the list, I don't know what is African Americans excuse. Both are the same colour, especially South Indians, and South indians face heavy discrimination everywhere in Asia, due to their colour, but seems like doesn't matter, they are still doing as well in Asia too, even in the most racist Asian countries towards them. So can't be racism. The Nigerian Americans are doing so well too.

Another interesting thing is, I pick out West Indians as Native Americans and they are doing better than African Americans and American American. Good on them!

This list seem to completely leave out the entire South Americans, latino, hispanic people, though. Strange, unless they are even lower than top 90. So bad?

Status: offline 		Sorry greta but I have been Labour/Socialist most of my life, which is the equivalent or more so, of liberal or democrat in the U.S. I think .........I apologise to any Americans reading this if I am wrong.................and I am acutely aware of my ancestry, as are most people on all sides of the political spectrum. In this country, in most cases though, it's a case of who you are NOW, rather than who your ancestors and forebears were or what THEY did, but that doesn't mean they are just consigned to the garbage can of history and forgotten. I think that applies in many segments of many countries too, unless one just happens to come out of that exclusive top drawer and wants to ensure that the elite ( as they see it) stays firmly at the top of the heap
