Yet, they blame anything else but the homophobia problem within islam with the incident recently. Now we have this, which again, the left will remain silent over. If it was whites in the western world doing such a thing, lefties would make it big news.

(Not the Sharia law, of course.) We didn't just have a majority that believed homosexuality should be illegal, we literally made it illegal. I'd be afraid to see an opinion poll from fifty years ago to see the percentage of how many Americans believed a woman should always obey her husband. The courts are still messing around having polygamy laws challenged, though that's more from cases from those identifying as Mormon, and a number of those cases stem from the state of Utah. It's tempting because we know certain people of a specified faith have done some horrific things. Don't think I don't know this isn't a popular opinion, especially in the wake of the Orlando shootings this past week, but I keep coming back to we have to blame the person who chose to commit the acts.

To be fair, the "God hates fags" at funerals is from the Westboro Baptist Church, not so much Xtians as a family of lefty lawyers that make their money trying to bait people into assault and battery charges so they can cash in on the civil suits. I'm not a person of any faith at all, and straight as a laser beam, but being here you can surmise I'm plenty kinky. I don't have anything against gays qua gays. I do object to the way many of them get in everyone's face about it, and especially the gaystapo going around trying to ruin Xtians' businesses for not toeing the line politically. I think it's invalid to compare passage of a law to protect those businesses to throwing gays off the roofs of buildings.

The church is not recognized by any Baptist convention, but those have their own issues. These guys protest at funerals for KIA soldiers, as well.
