This isnt about whether it is legal to marry more than once or not. Its about a man who hides behind his religion and says that everything he does is gods will.

This guy and all his followers are a bunch of kooks. I was watching a TV show about them and all I can say is people can be like sheep all they need is someone with a bit of charisma to say what they want to hear and they are off and running. At the end they had one of the wives who had fled with her daughter speaking about the cult. She said it wasn't a religion but a farce, all the men wanted were harems and they used religion as a way brainwash and obtain them. I would have to agree with her, its a shame to see people used like this. ~Lashra

My Sweet Submissive: What they do with the extra men is they find a way to get them out of the vicinity of the women and girls. They find some excuse to banish them from the premises. There was a very sad follow up to this show by CNN host Anderson Cooper, called "The Lost Boys" . It was about all of these adolescent guys who'd been kicked off Warren Steed's (or other Polygamist clans') property on some flimsy excuse - with nothing but the shirts on their backs, really because they were "competition" for the self-appointed head honcho of the clan (or his friends) as far as being attractive to women and girls. Although apparently, many adult males have been banished as well, for the same reason. There is apparently a group home(s) started for them in Utah by an ex-Polygamist clan member, where they can live and finish school, and see what they want to do with their adult lives. Some of them may never see their families again. It was so sad. - Susan

I presume the mother in laws would be to busy being married off to men and then reassigned to other men to interfere much.
