Yesterday was Canada Day, I was so preoccupied, I forgot to say HAPPY Canada Day to all the Canucks on the board.
I would be sharing Both Flags in honour of the occasion but for the first time in my life I have a little crush on a politician.

Lots of fireworks last night to celebrate.

And I would like to wish all the Americans on the board an happy Independence day, I hope you enjoy it fully!

I do have to say, I've really been enjoying the fireworks in the neighborhood. I'm loving it.

I would suggest reading up on how the fireworks may not be such a happy thing for the four-legged members of your family. Go-Go Gadget Google-Fu.

Sadly Boo had to be euthanized day before Canada Day, so she didnt have to go thru it. Normally she would hide under my desk in the basement riight next to the bass speaker while I crank the tunes. She preferred the bass to the booms.


But yes, its a big problem, and that more animals go missing during the 4th celebrations(apparently) because they panic.
Apparently there is some research into a medication to calm them, but I havent heard if it works.

My dogs spent thunderstorms and the fourth in a windowless room in the basement with the radio playing. Also New Years and opening day of hunting season.

And although I know how to make a cake like that, I'm glad I never had to.
