ORIGINAL: markyugen What we should do, instead of talking about exiling Muslims from America and promoting Islamophobia, is to alert people to the fact that Muslims are every bit as much the victims of extremist groups like ISIS as we are, if not many times more so, in terms of numbers killed, and intensify our efforts to work together with moderate Muslims around the world to eradicate the various murderous pseudo-Islamic pathologies that were brought to life as the result of Bush's epically disastrous war in Iraq. Ah, yes, those peaceful times before the War in Iraq when the Middle East and the US were practically bff's. Oh, wait. Which Bush were you referring to? Are you talking about HW's Gulf War, or W's Invasion of Iraq, which was based, in part, on Iraq's non-compliance with the UN's cease-fire from the end of HW's Gulf War. Yeah, it was Bush's fault. I agree that it's not all Muslims that are the problem. I'm not sure I'd use the term "pseudo-Islamic pathologies" to describe the interpretations of Islam that the terrorists are basing their actions on.
