Too soon to know...and the police aren't saying if they do know...whether the sniper(s) are affiliated with the Black Lives Matter protest taking place.

At a minimum they are using them for cover.
Since every cop is responsible for anything any cop does wrong I guess we have to blame all black people for this.

Humm, who made that statement?
I think most cops are good {I hope and pray that anyway}, it's the few bad apples I'm concerned about .
It's really sad, to see what this country has come to.

Look at the other thread.
According to it, it is policy of most departments to kill and many black as they can get away with.
Nobody there says that a bad cop did anything, they say that this is the way all cops operate. Pay attention to what our hugh number of cop haters have to say.
The MN governor's statment implys the same thing.

I don't attempt to speak for others here.
People spend night and day, typing crazy or outrageous shit on here.
I'm telling you as a Black woman, how I feel.
Let the nuts carry on, you can't control what people say on the Internet.
Why bother?

And I wasn't accusing one of the people saying that, but a state Governor is not a crazy on the internet, and he was fanning the fires of violence.
I assume you realize that with my linkage I was pointing out the absudity of both positions.

When they say "snipers", does this mean, they own snipping guns? Is that part of the allowed regular guns that people can own?

It's not good.

What do you think a snipping gun is.
The army used to use the Remington model 70, I think some snipers may still use it.
It was developed as a DEER RIFLE you know the kind of gun that gun grabbers say they don't want to touch.

I am watching the dallas police statement. And the dude is black!

Does this means, all the cops that were shot were black?

BLM needs to go after about shooting black police too then!

But one of the shooter picture looks non-black to me. Like hawaiian or something.

All these cop haters care about is that they are cops, a lot of them hate black cops more than white ones.

Okay, my idea of a snipping gun is those with those telescope, where you hide far far away from high places, and you gotta look through the scope to aim and shoot.

Those seem pretty useless for everyday self-defense if they were allowed for self-defense. Those are more like specific weapons made for murder.

Sounds like you have been following our election over here Bama *smile*. Even one of the politicians here, who resigned/retired recently said " We really DO have to do something to win back the public's confidence and trust. They look on us as just a bunch of greedy clowns "..............Those are possibly the first truths I have heard spoken by a politician in a long time. If ever.

Okay, I saw some mixture of Police now, on some of the videos, and looks like a good 50-50 mix of black and white police, so I am super duper curious now if any black police were shot.

Wow, one of the interviewee said many had rifles with them during the protest! The protestors that is. But can you imagine! After police officers got shot then all these black dudes with big rifles! Running around! How do you know which are the shooters and which aren't!

Oh well, just can't imagine!

And we even have our own (female) version of Donald Dump over here and she managed to get a seat in parliament too. Makes you wonder, doesn't it ? .............Naaah, I guess not, not really. There are some real half-wits here.

Telescopes are used for hunting, at for target shooting.
Since you most likely don't know, the model 70 is a bolt action rifle that comes with a 4 round magazine.

Yup, made for murder! Hunting is really a unnecessary sport in this modern world.
And any guns can be used for target shooting.

Politicians are pretty much the same the world over.
In the 70's the infamous Richard Daley, mayor of Chicago, was asked about channaling city projects to his son-in-law's construction company.

His response

"What kind of man would I be if I didn't take care of my family".

Here's a video showing how one of the shooters shot one of the cops with a rifle up close!

OMG! It's like counterstrike except it's real!! And the shooter look so pro!

And how in the world did that cop get caught so unaware!
