Nobody gave a shit. Maybe he looks too much like Justin bieber. Clearly only black lives matters and not all lives This may not be a race thing! This 17 yr old white kid, all he did was struggle and fight back, and that gives the police the right to shoot 7 bullets into him in self-defense? Police not prosecuted. I'd love the same scenario to happen to a black kid to see if the cop will still go free.

FR I just realise castille girl initial description of the cop was that his Chinese haha! Turns out to be Hispanic. This is exactly why "black lives matter" should not be encouraged! You got Dallas dude taking revenge on white cops, despite one of the killer cops was thought to be Asian and then turn out to be Hispanic. The crazy thing was, before the identity of the cop was revealed, the girlfriend already said his Chinese and everybody already went crazy blaming white cops! I think the whole "Black Lives Matter" thing is wrong. Giving specific attention to one specific race is not right and not the right method for racial harmony. It's creating discord only. I mean, is this really a white versus black thingy? OR are the blacks over sensitive? The 17 yr old white male got treated just as equally unfairly by the cop and lost his life for it. 7 bullets into a defenseless teenager over high beaming a headlight and the cop goes free and blameless. But because it's a white on white shooting, nobody gives a shit. Just like if it was black on black shooting. I am more than convinced there is no truth to the racial element.

Greta, it boils down to this, no matter what color the cop's skin is that fired the fatal rounds, he is, by virtue of a badge, white. Kinda like all you foreign screwups who refer to all Americans as "Yanks." Now, looking at the numbers for last year, there were almost twice as many white males shot by police than black males, does this mean that black cops are shooting white males at a rate of 2 for every black male shot?

The whale is undoubtably one of the largest mammals alive today. Does that mean that ice cream doesn't have bones? As useful a comparison of numbers as yours. More white people died than black people overall in the united states, does that mean that white people are dying off?

In the era of Facebook Live and smart phones, it’s hard to come to any conclusion other than the fact that police brutality toward African-Americans is a pervasive problem that has been going on for generations. Seriously, absent video proof, how many innocent African-Americans have been beaten or killed over the last hundred years by the police—with little or no media coverage or scrutiny? There’s no telling the damage this has done to us collectively, not to mention the specific families and individuals that were victimized. And, of course, the long-term psychic damage transcends the physical. All sorts of negative externalities can be expected of someone who rightly feels he’s living under an occupying army. This, at least to hear BLM and others claims, means that either a) they are misrepresenting cop killed black americans as white, b) there are a lot of black american males killed by police that are not showing up in the numbers because the bodies are being disposed of, all witnesses to the incident are being eliminated and their bodies disposed of, and finally all records of everyone but the cops who shot them have been erased to eliminate all records they actually existed.

Jeff in the year the petty criminal Michael Brown was killed attacking a police officer in Ferguson there were 159 black on black murders in St. Louis alone... this number does not include the county. BLM priorities need to be redirected inward where they belong... not concentrating on the police. Butch

Yes Ron but as has been pointed out here over and over black males are only 6 percent of the total population but kill each other at a rate that equals 44 percent of the total number of murders black and white and every other group or race combined. I would say this is a particular black problem that needs to be addressed far more urgently than the relatively rare police shootings. Not that any shooting should be ignored but black on black violence is being mostly ignored in this movement. Butch
