First paragraph in and we're already off to a bad start: the Paris attackers communicated in the clear using burner phones.

A few points:
1) Most intelligence agencies on the planet know that terrorists use burner phones and have been for years, the reason is obvious, you really dont have to give any information to get one.
2) The US Department of Justice knows that organized criminal organizations, potential domestic terrorist groups etc use burner phones, and have testified on this subject god knows how many times trying to tell congress that domestic terrorists and criminals are not stupid, cheap phones is the only way to effectively communicate between cells.
3) Television crime dramas accurately portray the problems with disposable cell phones are major plot tools.
4) The report is bullshit from the outset.
5) Any congress member dumb enough to believe the report contrary to the countless testimonies to the problems with burner phones and the lack of regulation on said devices is an idiot who would buy a bad of dog shit thinking it was a bag of sausage.
6) In a little publicized move, the DoJ found a math wise that came up with a way to break the encryption on the infamous Iphone that apple refused to help with. It made a small story in a few newspapers. Hell, more than a few math wizards take modern encryption as a giant puzzle to break for fun.
Finally with all the obvious flaws in the report, it reads more as an attempt at misdirection than anything else, because I cannot believe anyone is so stupid as to believe any of it.
But then, there a lot of people that believe Hillary and Trump, so I may be wrong.
