I was just wondering, as per your opinion and/or experience, are there more dommes or subs that are ready to commit to a relationship for a longer period with their partner?

I have been in long term relationships with my current sub and with past subs. I prefer that to something more casual, but that is just me. When I am involved with a sub I feel totally committed to them and I take on the responsibility of making them mine and caring for them. Thats not something I would do lightly. What other people do is their business. ~Lashra

I didn't even need a partner to be committed. Plus, the nurses always give me really cool medication before they put me to bed at night.

I was in a 3 1/2 year commited relationship with my former sub. I prefer commited play to casual play because it can go so much deeper in the explorations......From my experience however, just like in vanilla dating sometimes...it seems Dommes are more willing to commit longer term then males...... but thats the old mars and venus thing ....

It takes me a while to find submissives who fulfill my requirements, so when I do, I like to hold on to them. I kept my longest (so far) for ten years. On the other hand that doesn't exactly amount to "committment" from me, because I'm pretty ruthless about instantly releasing them if I lose interest, for whatever the reason, and years of loyal service won't change that, unfair as it may be.
