the news today says 8000 police officers has been suspended, the army is upside down, what a shambles of a country. ha ha
so for my American friends. you are lucky.

Nothing to laugh about. Turkey is an important piece in the ME.

The fallout from the failed coup may end up costing Europe and the Western world dearly.

With 8000 officers off the streets who will be responsible for protecting from ISIS attacks or preventing more insurgents from moving into Europe? I have a feeling that things are going to get a lot worse.

Western democracy and secular state is not compatible with Islamic countries.
Western people are all in denial that Islam, democracy and secularism can work great hand in hand.

All I can see is a democratically elected President. People chose a man who is pushing more Islamisation of Turkey, and less secularism. This was his vision. This was his selling speeches. And people voted for that choice!

I wonder when is the next election..., will be interesting if he still stays in power. Every 5 years apparently. They vote.

I have said it before in my experience they are all cheats and liars, AND THEY HAVE THE DEATH PENALTY. SO NO LOSS.

They can't have the death penalty if they wanna remain in Euro.

Geez! In the end, UK could just reinstate the death penalty to get kick out of Euro without dramas. So easy!
