Simple... because the DNC doesn't even remotely represent the interests of a large number of Democrats. That being said, I find this suit frivolous. I agree with all it's stipulations but it's not like there was any fraud going on because it was all pretty much out in the open and I doubt that picking a nominee is outside the charter of the national committee.
I think the other reason is that a wide swath of Democrats hate DWS for various reasons... some of which have nothing to do with this election or Sanders. They feel that she has failed on a performance basis.
