If the liars in our political system over here got no votes, parliament house would be a very lonely place for the two or three politicians that DON'T lie ( if any can be found). They don't call it lying though..................it is known as 'pragmatism' or 'dealing with reality'.

take the charlatans who are in power in the UK now. The core of their campaign to be elected government
deficit, national debt wasn't mentioned, rarely is....and how the deficit would be extinguished by 2015 then 2019 then never (and fuk me the national debt figure is high)
or was it immigration bleeding the country dry
or was it benefit scroungers bleeding the country dry
or was it Scotland should remain in the UK as they would not be a member of the EU (fuksake what a whopper) and the english voted out and the welsh

So who should be held accountable..i'd start with the politicians and then a good half of the electorate - free will is simply a burden many of them cannot bear.....

You have yet another option.. You can vote with your feet.. find a country that has more of the values you want in a country.. move there and get citizenship there, and give up your US citizenship.. Let the morons run this country into the ground (its halfway there now) and be happy that you found someplace better.. Most people wont do that, of course, cuz nearly everyone is just talk and that complacency is why those pricks and big corps and the 1% make the money they do, at the expense of Americans and the country..

Ehhhh....I kinda like my country but....as with Anderson (1980....who wanted to eliminate the debt....by raising the gas tax by 50 cents a gallon to do so....and was eviscerated), Perot in 1992 (who was eviscerated....similar reasons....wanting to pay off the debt), Perot again....in 1996 (same/same)....the American public does NOT vote for who can get the job done...both sides...historically .....consistently....choose "The One who can get elected".

I voted....in EVERY case for who (I felt)....could (would) pay off our debt...and I knew it would hurt.

But....everyone else voted for "who could get elected".

(Of course.....that's who we got).

And that....is who we will.....always....get.

(Because that.....is who we....collectively.....ALWAYS.....vote for).

As to being all talk....I voted for Anderson (in 1980....my very first election at 19 years of age).

And when I've had a candidate who was focused on debt reduction....I've voted for him.

(There have only been three....as stated above).

(As a bastard Republican.....determined {natch} to steal food from your babies).

Funny thing is that....paying off the debt (regardless of the personal cost....higher taxes for the wealthy AND all others)....would have made our children better off.....(even as it hurt).

Go figure.

(Sick fucking thieving piece of shit Republicans).

Americans can have a real bloody revolution & get rid of every single politician (ship em to Gitmo), scrap the political system and start over from scratch.. too bad Americans have become so gutless and that wont ever happen, its what is needed (paying off the debt isnt enough cuz the problem of being sold out by politicians will always be the problem under this system)..
