I find it totally believable that the cop was shooting at the other person and missed because most cops can't hit the broad side of a barn FROM THE FUCKING INSIDE. Maybe thompson , who can allegedly kneecap a roadrunner from 100 yards with a .32 snubnose, could pick up a few extra bucks giving seminars.

I know a guy who is quite a marksman and might be able to do that. But I have to agree about cops. Like the 41 rounds for a guy with a fucking knife. If I was a cop I would quit. Shooting is like driving. Visual acuity only counts sometimes. If you are within about ten yards you can kill if you know how to shoot. The acuity comes in at longer ranges. Like driving, when conditions are optimal you could about be half blind. But when it is dark, raining or whatever, then eyesight counts. From what I have seen over the years, the only logical conclusion is that cops are scared shitless. I KNOW they have to qualify at the range every so often, but out in public there are plenty of instances of shitty shooting. We have all seen TV and movies where they supposedly go through this training where cardboard figures pop out from behind walls and they have to discern between a bad guy and a little old Lady and all that, but the fact is, there is nothing shooting back. Bottom line, some cannot handle the pressure, and I have no idea how to test for that. Got any ideas ? T^T
