I live in Virginia and you all can have Tim Kaine.
I have never liked him.
Read about how good old Tim stands on the issues.

You don't like the black one and now you don't like the white one

again, I understand abstract thinking is difficult for you---its got nothing to do with what subrob likes or does not like. he is pointing out how the lefties are continually harping about "diversity" for diversity sake, and have an opportunity to practice what they preach in picking a running mate, and they don't.

by implication, those of us who dislike the nonsense of the "diversity" for diversity sake movement---can look at Hillary and say "ah, so its really more about who is the most qualified or the best fit then isn't it?"

You clearly understand little.

abstract thinking is difficult for you---its got nothing to do with what subrob likes or does not like. he is pointing out how the lefties are continually harping about "diversity" for diversity sake,

and have an opportunity to practice what they preach in picking a running mate, and they don't.

They have had an opportunity in this and the last two elections to put up diversity candidates and have.

by implication, those of us who dislike the nonsense of the "diversity" for diversity sake movement---can look at Hillary and say "ah, so its really more about who is the most qualified or the best fit then isn't it?"

He applies the art of the deal to that as well: Flump has spent years shopping around for the trophy bride that offers him the best value....

Where are the diversity for diversity sake citations? Continual harping should produce a slew of citations.

Depends on which variety of 'abstract thinking' you're talking about. In contrast to realty of politics and reality of life, no one is better at abstract 'thinking' (delusionalism) than Republicans; 'Trickle down theory,' "Iran has nukes," "the banks can self-regulate," etc. That particular variety of abstract 'thinking' which a rational person avoids by natural instinct.

Excellent example of rightist "abstract 'thinking'."

It might not even take until November to find out whether Republicans hate women or blacks more, the way some posters are talking...

talking between social/political worldviews is already challenging enough---and is either made all the more so, or perhaps as evidenced by, that incredibly idiotic statement.

What, so there was no racial element at all in the Republican outrage to Obama's election, then? That wasn't an issue?
Show your working out for that one.

actual conservative (or libertarian for that matter) positions are lost on the lefties (at least many of the ones here) and its easier for them to demagogue and demonize than it is to accept and discuss the differences behind, and the merits of the worldviews. plus it gives them that feeling of intellectual and especially moral superiority they crave so much.

they also enjoy redefining the word "hate" to suit their purposes.

CHRIS MATTHEWS (HOST): How do you deal with the problem -- that a lot of women I know and work with -- whenever a man, you’re a man, or Trump, who is a man, criticizes Hillary Clinton, they hear male criticizing woman? How do you avoid that? That’s real.

PAUL MANAFORT: Again, that's real, too, but again, it depends on which women you are talking about. There are -- many women in this country feel they can't afford their lives, their husbands can't afford to be paying for the family bills. Hillary Clinton is guilty of being part of the establishment that created that problem. They’re going to hear the message. And as they hear the message, that's how we are going to appeal to them.

MATTHEWS: You heard what you just said didn’t you? You said women are concerned about their husband's income?

MANAFORT: I can speak personally to that

MATTHEWS: Is that the 21st century talking? That that’s their big concern? How their husband’s doing at work?

MANAFORT: Because they can't afford their lives anymore. That's the point. It's not a -- for some people it's a matter of jobs. Other people, it's about affordability.

MATTHEWS: You have got to sharpen up this appeal to women.
