looking at the terror events around the world, I am now beginning to wonder if he was right. if all the idiots that cause terror, are even 90% muslim ????

Was Bush I a Muslim? Was Dick Cheney a Muslim? Were Bush II or Donald Rumsfeld or Tony Blair Muslims?

I'm presuming this query to be about responsibility concerning the sharp uptick in terrorist acts, correct me if I'm wrong.

I read the line recently that 100% of the terrorists have been male. Nobody talks about banning all males, though - least of all Trump. If I were to go up to the nearest muslim and say, 'Why aren't you condemning these muslim terrorist atrocities more?' I would expect the same reaction as I'd have if some mad old baggage came up to me and said 'Why aren't you condemning these male terrorist atrocities more, you *male*, you?!' (Believe me, in Bristol, you'd not be that surprised. It's full of mad old ladies.) Being a muslim of some description is a necessary condition of being a muslim terrorist. But it isn't a sufficient condition.

Who ever told you 100% of terrorists are male was lying or stupid. A quick google search should have told you that much.

I didn't bother to check on it. I suspected most were - at least the ones that have committed the most infamous atrocities in the west. It didn't have any bearing on the point for me, though.

The gender point is an excellent one, though: misogyny's endemic to Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Arab cultures that tend to produce jihadists. Of course, pointing out that part of the problem is a deep seated cultural failing that predates the invention of a religion fourteen hundred years is bad form, because it implies that the trouble isn't purely down to moslem's all being jihadists.

Just out of interest, can anybody name a female moslem terrorist other than Leila Khaled?

No argument - though things are different amongst Muslims living in the west. Much of it's still there, but a lot of it has faded away, fortunately.

Often, I suspect, because a lot of the moslems living in the west came over here in the first place to get away from that shit.

Trump is now ahead in the polls, and I have no doubt that one of the reasons is his expressed attitude towards Islam.

He is not nearly hostile enough, but it's a start.
