Feminist Ghostbusters reboot starts to collapse at box office: falls of ticket sales of 46% - 63% already in just one week. Sony will be probably losing at least 50 million dollars overall.

I have seen so few good movies the last decade that I would rate 7 or more outa 10.

The difference between a translation and a remake is that a translation is made to make the movie fit a different audiance, while a remake is an attempt to improve on the origianl.
Akira Kurosawa said that the Magnificent Seven was what he wanted to do but the Japanese audiance would have had no frame of reference.

Not having a flag in a movie, not having one at a national convention are slightly different things don't you think.

BTW this thread is about movies, not about how perfect the Dems are and how wonderful their convention is.
You want to tell us what a great and partiotic thing it is for them not to have flags, like in 2012 when they mentioned God and got booed, do it in the proper thread. I will not participate in a derailment of this thread.

The Wiz was not a remake of the Wizard of OZ, it was a translation for black culture.

Ten Things I Hate About You was not a remake of the Taming of the Shrew, it was a translation so teans could understand it.
Pale Rider was a remake of Shane with a name change.

Status: offline 		Ghostbusters was a movie that should never have been messed with.... I won't go see it, from why I hear the CGI in this movie wasn't as good as the 80's version.... Has nothing to do with an all female cast either... I am just so tired of all the reboots and reimaginings. How many times are they going to reboot Spider-Man or batman
