I do understand that sentiment... but i have seen more than a few theme movies that were good... if not as good as the original... I liked all the Godfather movies for instance.

Ghostbusters was a movie that should never have been messed with.... I won't go see it, from why I hear the CGI in this movie wasn't as good as the 80's version.... Has nothing to do with an all female cast either... I am just so tired of all the reboots and reimaginings. How many times are they going to reboot Spider-Man or batman

Nothing was as good as the 80's version.
Till they get them right?
Although they seem to get further away everytime they start over.
So far the best Spiderman I have seen was in Civil War.

If you want to see a good movie, see The Lookout.

Or Pain and Gain, it is funny as Hell, the Rock is superb in it as a coked out body builder.

Yeah I like off beat movies.

I'm enjoying a free movie these days, it is called Hillary or Donald for President.
It's a horror movie, and I think the ending will scare many.

I'm wore the fuck out on Spider-Man. Batman is getting there. (Michael Keaton is the best batman. Fuck anybody that disagrees[;)])
A lot of people grew up on ghostbusters and other 80's movies. You don't fuck with that unless you are sure you are doing it better. Because if you don't ,they'll crucify you for fucking it up. After people saw that shitty trailer they went nuts.

WhoreMods -> RE: The new Ghostbusters (7/27/2016 11:29:34 AM)

Good as Keaton is (I thought he played a much better Bruce Wayne than Batman, meself) he ain't no Adam West.

I'd much rather they were remaking '80s movies than fucking about with Suspiria, but I know that's a minority opinion.

LadyPact -> RE: The new Ghostbusters (7/27/2016 12:04:55 PM)

Weird. I don't think it was a feminist thing. I don't even think it was a remaking of Ghostbusters thing.

Your talking about a movie that's going up against summer blockbusters and three separate kids movies. Still, somehow managed to be fifth at the box office. Very few movies are ever going to beat Star Trek on it's release weekend. People line up for that stuff.
